Pre-season or not, he’s been awful. Just watch the highlights from yesterday. He can’t pass the ball or competently control a stray pass. Don’t tell me he’s “learning the language” and therefore that justifies a complete inability to defend. Our season will be summed up by signing this clown. Spunk the majority of our limited budget on someone who doesn’t improve us when we’ve got ample in that position.

That just proves he’s out of his depth.

How Cooper can say he’s watched all our games last year and then choose not only to drop Ricardo, but refuse to play him as the inverted fullback is beyond me. He’s the only one with a bit of quality to bounce off of Winks. So for me, I play Ricardo in the role he dominated last season, allowing Winks to pull the strings. And then I’d be looking at one of the young lads who are comfortable with the ball to step in over Hamza. How does anyone know Alves, Goulding or Sammy B couldn’t do it? We’ve got to give one of them a chance. Christ - we’ve given Hamza enough in that position. What this really boils down to is Cooper’s depth. He’s well out of it. A team that played with such competency and a well drilled system last season (only a few months ago), looks completely lost now. Unfortunately Cooper is incredibly basic and he’s already undone all the great work that Enzo did last year. People might not like Enzo anymore, myself included, but **** me he knew what he was doing with this group. There was a confidence and clever style of play.

He talks about not doing enough going forward and not being able to cope with the intensity of their press. Yeah - well don’t ****ing play Wilf and Hamza in the heart of midfield. If you’ve got players running at you to press and challenge, you need someone who’s going to drop a shoulder and show some real quality in half a second. You’re not getting that from Wilf or Hamza. And then he’s playing the likes of Kristiansen - who, let’s face it, doesn’t want to be here, isn’t PL quality and totally ****s up the flow we had down that left side last season. You cannot tell me that (A) a team that railed the Chammo with such a plan last year isn’t good enough suddenly. And (B) professional players are ‘crying out for more players to join’. I’m already done with Cooper’s negative bullshit. I’m not going down the KP until he’s sacked.

I’d honestly sack him now. He can keep going on about ‘not having enough new signings’. Let’s remember we only lost KDH, and we’ve brought new players in in other positions. Fundamentally, we looked good against prem teams last season in spells. And at least we played with a clear identity and system. There was a plan. Stinky Winky has zero plan. The players look devoid of energy and confidence. I cannot believe how bad we were today.

Steve Cooper is so basic. Moving to a back 4. Starting Kristiansen. Dropping Ricardo. Losing the inverted full back which led to so much great play last season. Insisting on starting Hamza and Wilf. Signing crap like Olkili and Bobby DCR. I can’t believe how bad we look vs last season. As if people actually wanted Enzo to leave.

There’s no way Cooper can seriously consider that midfield 3 as our strongest options. I cannot believe how far we’ve fallen by appointing this clown as manager.

Are the club seriously telling me that Stinky Winky is the only manager we could attract? No one else wanted it? Even the lad from West Brom has a style of play. Stinky Winky hasn’t got a clue. He looks so defeated all the time. I’m really not looking forward to this season at all.

Thought Daka looked great.

Good cover. Great engine on him and can fill in a CB if desperate. Can also now go forward as we saw last season, and it’s good to keep senior players who’ve been with us. Im happy with this.
