We played Bournemouth Community a couple of weeks ago, great friendly bunch of guys, although we found their pitches a little small. They gave us a tour of the Vitalty stadium as well. -

Loving reading all these stories. All I can suggest to you older guys is, try walking football. It's not all old doddery buggers trying to kick a ball, it's skilful, good exercise, and totally enjoyable. I love it, give it a go. -
School Team - Early Football memories

Started out as goalkeeper for Barwell junior school in the early 60’s when 10 years old. When I moved on to Secondary school – Heathfield High in Earl Shilton - found out that my competitor for the keepers jersey was Denis Longdon, who was already training with Citys junior squad, so decided I had to move on. Took on the inside left position – midfield/striker for you young ones – emulating my hero Denis ‘The King’ Law, even though I was a Leicester fan. Captained the 2nd year team under the direction of the best teacher I ever had, John Hunting, who was linesman in the 1972 cup final. Moved on to Hinckley Grammar school where, despite attending every training session I never managed to get into the team. Signed for Barwell Athletic at the age of 16, broke into their Leics Senior League side at 18, and was captain of their reserves at 19, a side that contained several lads that played in the Grammar school team that I was deemed not good enough for – sweet revenge there! Moved from Barwell after 10 years and joined Earl Shilton Town in the Hinckley and District league. Spent about another 10 years there before moving to Hampshire where I played for a couple of local teams, retiring at the age of 38 having played every position on the pitch. Only played one more 11-a-side game, a Lads v Dads match back in goal, where I pulled off a couple of absolute worldy saves at the age of 58 or so, @Sol thewall Bamba will confirm this. Unfortunately in the same game I dislocated my shoulder and swore I’d never play in goal again. Started playing walking football 10 years ago, and currently play for Winchester Walking FC, where I am their tournament keeper! We got to the last 32 of the Walking Football over 60’s national cup this year, and I’m still throwing myself around like a teenager. Football eh, it never lets you go. -

Before we get started, just let me say CMON ITALY. -
Do what I'll be doing mate, cheer for the other side, just to see the looks on Kane's and Southgate faces when they lose
-
You're lucky if it doesn't work for you. I've got a paper ticket, so no excuse not to go ☹️
-
Why not? We found one called Dave's in Valletta, Malta
-
FFS, Ward again? Rodgers is an idiot, confirmed by this team selection. I'm out.
-
One of those 'morons' was my wife, just got back (2am) after leaving home before 6 yesterday morning.
-
Try the Motorhead version, so much better.
-
Yes we are mate. Only positive is, we can put the money towards April 8th!!
-
Simple. Serena Wiegman. Or did I mean Serena Williams?
-
No, Chelsea get Potter, Brighton get Rodgers, and we get fkt with Tuchel, everyone's happy.
-
Can we get Serena Wiegman? Surely she'd prefer managing us over those English Ladies blokes.
-
So it's Nachos fault he's still here. Get rid and buy a decent striker.
-
Planet Rock are currently playing Bon Jovi"Keep the Faith" - hope that's not a sign 😁
-
Not if you listened to your dad!
-
Can it get any worse? Rodgers isn't sacked, and now Liz fkin Truss is the new PM. Feeling suicidal here.
-
Ok Brendan, you've had your laugh. Now announce the real team please.
-
Why the hell is Ward still playing? We've seen how crap he is, let's see if Iversen can out-crap him. Plus, Iversen has Championship experience, will be useful next season.
-
Not another over the hill has-been trying to rinse us for a last big pay day? Look at the last one, how did that work out? CAMBIASSO!! He's magic you know.
-
Fook him, hope it all goes horribly wrong. Club will survive, whatever league we are in.
-
I can picture him at Lens.
-
And to think, I spent the best part of 90 quid today on Forest tickets. Will I never learn?

Easy answer to the question - From Fofana speeding down the M1 on his way to Chelsea. "That'll be a fine and 3 points sir"
