Literally the ONLY thing on that list that happened

3rd of 5 exams today, easily my most stressful yet (although that will probably change by next Tuesday...). Reckon I did pretty well though considering the lack of confidence I had beforehand. Now an evening off before revision starts again, so back with the 'rents for the night to watch the footy and be assaulted by a 'pack' of 5 cavalier king Charles spaniels . I need a holiday asap...

They only got £7.5 for Cornelius because Cardiff were dumb and charged in with a ridiculous offer. We were about to sign him for a tenth of that price if I recall correctly. If they think he's worth more than Cornelius that's fine, but they shouldn't kid themselves that Cornelius was worth 7.5 because he clearly want at all.

Haha, should've seen that coming... Cheers though - 3 more to go, then the dissertation and summer exams. Uni has flown by ridiculously quickly.

Second exam today, and the only real essay based exam in my whole degree (maths and stats, this was a maths education module). Went okay, but 5 minutes in I got the worst cramp of all time in my hand and couldn't move my thumb without it flaring up again. Agony for the 90 minutes - I can certainly tell that I haven't wrote a full paragraph by hand in absolutely ages, let alone an essay. Think I managed to blag my way through it. Now just onto revision for my next one on Wednesday. This time next Tuesday I'll be done, thankfully.

First of my Semester 1 exams out of the way today. Not quite as nice as last year's paper for this module, but think I managed to do pretty well. Almost ballsed it up completely though. Did the first part of a q (we had a choice 2/3) but gave up because i had a mind blank on part b, so switched to the other q. Found out after the exam I'd completely screwed up on part a, so would've probably dropped 75% of the marks for that q if I'd carried on. lucky escape. 2 days before my next exam now, and my first essay-style exam since I started uni almost 4 years ago. Got a ton of reading to do over the weekend. Then after that, 2 days to re-learn another module for wednesday's exam, then 4 days to re-learn 2 modules for Monday/Tuesday. Not fun.

You're forgiven

To be fair, if they managed to pass the ball sideways for 70 minutes when they only have 63 minutes of possession, those 7 minutes would be quite a spectacle..

Awesome stuff

Reckon it's a bit of confusion due to him not being fully fluent in English just yet. Possible that he meant something along the lines of "we're not getting ahead of ourselves just yet - 40 points has always been the target and we're still working towards that".

In typical student fashion, I've managed to get it done but now it's probably going to overrun significantly (meaning I'll lose marks, although less time for qs). Guess I'll just havetotalkreallyquickly On a side note, some dick has just walked past me wearing a tshirt, short shorts, flip flops and a snapback. ITS FVCKING DECEMBER YOU T!T. For some stupid reason though, that seems to be the norm here in Lboro...

Got very little work done yesterday, so I've now got half of today (other half is lectures) to work on a 12min presentation I've got to give tomorrow morning, assessed as the first part of my dissertation. Ugh. The presentation isn't too bad as I can fill it with loads of examples. It's the questions afterwards I'm dreading, as I don't have nearly as strong an understanding of the material as I'd like. Doesn't help that my supervisor has (literally) been thousands of miles away since the beginning of term... After the presentation I've only got another 4 lectures this week before christmas though, so that's something to look forward to at least

Can vouch for this. I'm scrawny as fvck, and look like I could be snapped like a twig, but I've been a martial artist for almost 14 years and if anyone tried anything I could more than handle it. Preaching non-violence is always top priority, though. Everything is taught with either self-defense, non-contact or competitions in mind. Even in weapons training, the number 1 thing taught is ALWAYS to run.

'2 to the lowly Faroe islands' - why is EVERYONE seemingly incapable of doing basic research on this simple fact...

Thoughts are with your family, Singh. Terrible news. Its little in the way of comfort, but at least you have some closure on this now...

FFS, was on the loo and missed it... anyone got a pic?

"You always talk about the next step, but Leicester is - for Kasper - where he needs to be" (or something along those lines) :D

Schmeichel Snr absolutely raving about us on the SNF prematch chat.

IR maybe? Or a politics/German joint honours? Plenty of options if you do decide to go to uni. Not picking maths is probably wise, though. I'm a maths / stats finalist and it's painful at times

Don't suppose you've got next week's lottery numbers?...

Hear, hear.

Don't even need to be merged - get rid of that second row, increase the height of the first and add text wrapping...

Thanks! It seemed to go alright - although I think I over-spoke a bit. On reflection it seemed more of a chat than an interview so i think I approached it wrong. Sounds like I've already been given a place on the assessment centre though (in March ). Probably helped somewhat that the person on the phone was the same person I spoke to at the Loughborough uni careers fair, and she seemed to remember me
