Nailed the coding part of a group coursework assignment without the rest of my group, so I'm probably gonna get a good adjusted mark in the peer assessment even if I don't do any more of the work And got myself a telephone interview for tomorrow morning for a grad job that's exactly what I'm looking for. Fingers crossed

Not quite. 13 is our best away sequence without a loss - between 21/12/13 and 26/04/14.

Definitely didn't misread that... Nope. Not at all...

Exactly, particularly as Mahrez had just been off on international duty the week before the southampton match.

Can't link it and not sure where to put it anyway, but the Premier League (on facebook) asked 9 players who would make the best James Bond at their club. Schwarzer was on it for Leicester, and reckons Hammond would be the best fit. Can't say I disagree really, tbh . Bond villain would definitely be Wasilewski, no question about it. Possibly Huth as well...

I was planning on speaking to them tomorrow when I've got time to head to the maths office. There is someone from the sports science department who has worked with her on a similar project previously who I'm also going to speak to though. Just incredibly frustrating, particularly as there have been quite a few organisation issues lately with the department I'll also be submitting an Impaired Performance form when I submit my project, which should see it marked a little more leniently. Hopefully.

My project (/dissertation) supervisor - who I'm supposed to be meeting with weekly - has been out of the country since September, leaving me to teach myself a ridiculously advanced stats topic before she gets back at the end of the month for us to make a start on the actual project itself. Except now I've just found out that she's had to extend her trip and won't be back until the new year, meaning I've got to start everything with no clue whatsoever how to do it. FFS. That's about 20% of my degree which has just got far, far harder than it should be On the plus side, won a £100 departmental prize for making the best poster about my placement year, and I'm getting a free curry from my mate for my birthday earlier this week. Decent.

Technically, there are several players (but not that many, really) better than Vardy. If it was purely on technical ability, vardy wouldn't make the squad. HOWEVER, vardy has a much, much higher work rate and plays a much more attacking style than the rest, which levels the playing field and is what's - rightly so - earn him his call ups. If those more technically able than Vardy started to play with half the impetus that our man does, then England might actually start to be a half decent side again.

I applied (and got in) to Loughborough for CompSci. Had a change of heart after the course started and switched to Maths on the first day of lectures. It'll vary depending on the uni and department, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue, particularly if you've got the grades that would be required. Always best to call them (specifically the department admissions tutor for where you want to transfer) to get advice before hand. They'll know what would be the best course of action for you.

Ran-ieri, Ran-ieri, He's the tinkerman He came here from Greece and before that - Milan* Ran-ieri, Ran-ieri, His name's Claudio, He's leading the Foxes to put on a show. Chim Chim Cher-ee from Mary Poppins. Just about fits - although the third line is a little mistruth... Alternatively "He left Monaco and before that - Milan". The last line is crap but I'm tired and couldnt think of anything better.

Man Utd fans think we'll do badly: http://www.redcafe.net/threads/ranieri-is-the-new-leicester-manager.406530/ Not many comments but Chelsea seem a bit more positive, although that's more because they're happy to see him back than because they think he'll do well...: http://www.theshedend.com/topic/28167-following-our-nearest-dearest-rivals-20152016/page-19 Positive from the blue side of Manchester: http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/threads/ranieri-new-leicester-boss.314076/

Of course they can, because gay people* ARE normal people. * 'Gaylord' - really? What are you, 10?

What grinds my gears is that these kinds of bigoted, short-sighted attitudes still exist.Totally incorrect, totally irrelevant and totally unnecessary.

Note that I said that was a rough guess of how many managers each club had, NOT how many changes each club made. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014%E2%80%9315_Football_League_Championship#Managerial_changes From the start of the season (8th August), there were 19 managerial changes. NINE clubs (not 4 like you claimed) had 1 manager for the whole season: Bournemouth, Middlesbrough, Brentford, Ipswich, Wolves, Derby, Blackburn, Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham TWELVE clubs had 2: Norwich, Birmingham, Cardiff, Charlton, Forest, Huddersfield, Fulham, Bolton, Reading, Brighton, Millwall, Blackpool. Leeds and Wigan had 3 managers. Watford had 4. This doesn't include managerial changes which happened before (4) or after (3) the season. In total, that leads to 43 managers in place over the duration of the season (slightly fewer if you discount duplicates from managers who held the role at multiple clubs). For 24 clubs, that averages out to 1.79 managers each. Considering that my 1.7 figure was just an educated guess, I'd say that's pretty good going.
-
I'd be shocked if the wording in the BBC article is accurate, to be honest. If it didn't include people leaving without being sacked, then there would have been at least 25 managerial changes last season in the championship. I certainly don't recall anywhere near that many - that would suggest that the average club had between 2 and 3 permanent managers over the season. I fully expect that the 'managers sacked' figure includes managers leaving of their own accord, and for 'other reasons'. Still a shocking figure, but take Watford out of the question and the average championship club would have had about 1.7 managers over the season, which is a lot more realistic and seems about right from what I can remember.
-
Take off their 4 sackings and its still the highest total for a single season in the last 10 years. Ridiculous.
-
I don't think they know how...

That's nicki minaj, both in front and on the t-shirt. Pretty sure that picture is her album cover..
