  1. Well played Rishi. Less so Rehan, and at the moment poor old Lewis looks way out of his depth. Just dropped by the Pope
  2. The decision to sign and play Singh looks rather odd. A fifth seam option? With the benefit of hindsight Trevaskis would have provided more variety with the ball and potentially sterner lower order resistance with the bat
  3. I suspect he has the ability, but not the self belief. A 4 ball pair will not help.
  4. They’ve been as miserable as until their season sparked into life when we collapsed at our place
  5. He has some competition. Soumare. Okoli. Musa. Slimani. Faes. Skipp.
  6. I think this is where I'm at. If it means the likes of Braybrooke, Alves, Evans, Cartwright, Aluko, Gray etc become part of a new exciting team, so be it. These last two seasons have been utterly dismal, and there is simply no joy supporting Leicester City at the moment
  7. To inject some much needed competitive edge into this thread, in which minute do we concede first? I’m tempted to say 3, but will try and be positive and go for 63
  8. Let’s be honest, this has been a dreadful winter for the men’s team, and the women’s team were poor in the autumn too. Women’s T20 World Cup in England this summer. Big opportunity for the game if we compete well. If.
  9. Arsenal fans have booed their team at times this season. You're right. Collectively, crowds seem quicker to voice their dissatisfaction.
  10. There’s always the mistake.
  11. This is a pathetic take. Crowd responded to a better second half performance. Plenty of Rudkin out noise too. As feeble as we are, we have to encourage the team if we’re to have a chance of survival.
  12. Around the same we spent on Okoli.
  13. I thought the transfer window was closed now mate
  14. Well, league one and out of the FA Cup in November, sadly
  15. That’s a great piece of writing @tickler28. I know it’s only a game, but City are part of my identity, and have been for over 50 years. And right now, I’m hurting
  16. Good call this. Obviously want us to win, but if not us, let it not be India or Australia.
  17. that's not really the point. It's so generate continued media exposure. No one, not even if they pretend otherwise, likes adverse media coverage. No single act will bring about regime change. A collection of actions might just do so. The alternative is to do nothing. And that's not really an alternative, is it?
  18. I absolutely thought about that Wolves game at half time. At 3-1, felt it might well end up all square. At 3-2 hoped we might cling on for a point. We've been spineless for the best part of 4 seasons if we're honest.
  19. It feels like an absolute certainty at the moment
  20. Do you think the Director of Football might do the decent thing and provide an update tomorrow? Thank Kingy for stepping into the breach? Of course he won't. Rudkin has absolutely no class whatsoever
  21. First time there has been such a turnaround in the Championship in 16 years. That’s how bad this is.
  22. That starting line up cost around £105 million
  23. I think many, myself included, have not wanted to acknowledge the decline of Ricky because he is now our one remaining link to the good times. I remember travelling to Brighton in 2019. We won 2-0, and for the first 20 minutes we destroyed them, with Ricky cruising up and down the flank. Travelling back on the train a Brighton fan simply smiled at us and said "you were just a bit too good for us." They were mid table. Happy days. We were second. Kasper didn't have a shot to save. Fifth win in a row. We'd won those five by an aggregate of 17-1.
