Millwall 1-0 LCFC, post-match thread

I empathise with this viewpoint completely. -
We’re currently 10th. This must be our lowest league position since about 2011. The slide continues

Millwall (A) 15:00 Sat 25th, Pre-Match

This is what I’d like to see, rather than a prediction Solarcyzk Ricky P Nelson Vestergaard Thomas Winks JJ Ramsey Fats Evans Mavididi its far from ideal blooding Evans at Millwall, but our three strikers have shown nothing. Monga works best as a sub around 55 mins. if Stephy isn’t fit it probably means Ayew replaces him, sadly. -
Sadly this analysis feels spot on. The Enzo season was a dead cat bounce, but the weight of mistakes over the last four years is dragging us down. As you say, it feels like we have further to fall
-
Amazing how quickly I’ve felt ‘attached’ to the new JJ. Amidst all the mistakes we’ve made, he feels like a good’un

You forgot Soumare ….

Add in Soumare to make £120 million

I think if any of us had predicted back in April that we will win the second division by a mile we’d have been laughed out of town. But that’s what we’ve done. It’s really quite remarkable, and we must savour today, because these moments don’t occur often. It’s been a struggle to support County for years, but not this season. Well done one and all 🦊🦊🦊 -
Our best performance to date

We can then blame a) the ECB b) Top c) Oliver Skipp for our collapse -

Agreed. One innings in about 20 his approach might work. But he doesn’t seem interested in developing his game. -

Yep, a storm in the middle of September is definitely the ECB's fault. It was also ridiculously nice in early April. -

And Budinger slashes a wide one to third man. He does not appear to have great cricketing intelligence -

There will be plenty of bad balls. Wait for them. Defend the good balls, and see where we are in a couple of hours. Keep it as simple as possible -

The idea was to rattle through some overs, improve the over rate, and thus avoid the chance of a points deduction -

So Tattersall joins Eskenazi on loan for the rest of the season, along with Green. Does Van Beek return? Does the skipper have to return to Australia? Share your info please badgers -

Did we not also sell Cannon for £10 million in January (as well as buying Woyo for £3 million. By mistake, online) -
Everyone came to the fans. He hung back a bit, clapped a little bit. Strange one, it really is

I agree. It feels like he’s a lazy batter, unprepared to dig in when the occasion demands -
I'm going on Saturday. I don't drink much, and definitely not early doors, but have advised my mate I will need a beer on the train from Harpenden to help ease me through what I might witness from 12.30

I’m glad someone at the club has had the guts to actually say something substantive and honest rather than the usual bland platitudes. Might not agree fully with Abdul, but glad he’s said what he thinks
