Nothing will force them out more than league 1 football in a half empty stadium.

The size of the pool of managers will certainly srink if we end up i league 1.

We need someone similar to when Brian Little came in and turned things .But to achieve that most of this squad need to go and be replaced with hungry championship,league 1/2 players hungry to prove a point,rather than players on their way down with shit attitudes.

I'm same age you ,and I don't remember feeling as pissed as I do now when I watched that season.In fact had some cracking away days. Must be an age thing .

I wouldn't worry about going up this season,I'd be more worried of going down.

Whoever came in would get the same response I e nothing. Might as well keep him ,nothing will change till the swamps drained.

It'll be Marti's stubbornness over things like this which will get him the sack .Nelson played well last season in a poor Oxford side ,where as our 2 clowns are playing poorly every week in what should be a superior side .If he doesn't change we're ****ed ,thanks Top ,Rudkin.

The difference between us and Cov is a number of things down to Top ,and Rudkin mainly.Cov don't train at a 5 star country club ,haven't got many big time Charlie's who've played in the Premier,arnt on obscene wages and would see promotion as a step up to better things. The main thing is they want to be there ,play for each other and whether you like him or not Lampard has turned them around almost instantly. They've got an owner who's got the place buzzing like we were under Pearson ,also theyve been starved of not much success so to be top and scoring for fun you can see why they're going to take some stopping.

But we've seen lurch and faes arnt up to it in any league ,every game one or both make mistakes leading to a goal and throw Thomas in as well, you've no chance of keeping a clean sheet .The best we can hope for is mid table till these ****wits **** off or arnt picked .

It says it all when a under strength portsmouth side nearly did us and a near relegated hull last season have somehow put a team together to win 5 out of the last 6 with next to no money .
