  1. They're from lunnun innit. They're from London innit? But we were better against them than those other clubs. Bloody hell we have had a horrible run of away games before CL matches.
  2. Adam Smith in front of the cameras (again!) for Northampton tonight.
  3. They bloody love Knockeart down here (in the same way we did). I really think he deserves premier league football. Hope Brighton get promoted - They look very good from the little I've seen
  4. I thought he was very much a headless chicken even then.
  5. I'll speak here as a fan of Leicester for 43 years - who has lived away from the city for 27 years now and has occasionally - 3 or 4 games a season - been to watch away and home - cups and league. It does annoy me that I haven't been able to get tx this season - but that irritation is more than balanced by being able to appreciate the joy - life joy - of long time supporters. I envy those season ticket holders who were there in the "dark ages" because I am dreaming - you are living the dream. Latecomers will never understand.
  6. The Financial Times being quite nice now http://www.ft.com/cms/s/2/6ffadee2-fc45-11e5-b5f5-070dca6d0a0d.html?siteedition=uk
  7. And don't forget Buddhist meditation. Stay in the now.
  8. Tom Lawrence. Player in waiting.
  9. Spurs fan at work has conceded. Obviously he doesn't mean it and is trying to play some sort of detached mind game. BUT he knows it's true.
  10. Austria v Germany 1982 world cup. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disgrace_of_Gij%C3%B3n But it would take the gloss off. (Do I care?)
  11. Kante is amazing.
  12. Oh lord this is a great time to be an LCFC fan/supporter “That is our way. If we slow down, it’s not Leicester, it’s another team,” Ranieri is the Cambiasso of managers.
  13. I liked the thought of Ranieri "hand crashing every journalist". But nice to see Schlupp and Albrighton mentioned (and no mention of Mahrez - so hopefully he won't be off to Barca)
  14. Sorry if this has already been posted. La Vanguardia is a pretty serious Catalan newspaper http://www.lavanguardia.com/deportes/futbol/20151124/30354756878/leicester-milagro.html I particularly liked this (apologies for Google translate): Claudio Ranieri, coach of foxes is to some extent the anti Mourinho. Not to be presumed or special, or be anything. In any case having lived and seen a lot of football 63 years. Football globetrotter, has trained fourteen different teams (and the Greek national team, of bad memories) over three decades.Elegant, polite and courteous man, starts press conferences hand crashing every journalists. But that does not mean it is not soft and silly. In and out of costume is enforced based on intelligence, class and wisdom. His big blow in Leicester has been implementing a 4-4-2 that often becomes 4-5-1, largely renounce possession of the ball, use the bands and counterattack Vardy speed advantage, Jeffrey Schlupp and Marc Albrighton, three of the fastest players in the Premiership, so much so that they are known as the RAF (Royal Air Force). Rivals know exactly what awaits them, but they can not offset stagnant in the 4-3-3 that has become the norm in England, and almost no one is prepared to leave.
  15. I would be more than happy if we can get in to Stoke territory.
  16. They were Leicesterised.
  17. Southampton may not be a big club - but they are a bloody good club (like us).
  18. Ahh hello - this is the thread. Yes - how can anyone argue with the fact that Messi is the greatest football player. Until someone better comes along - but I suspect that will take a while. His goal today was unimaginable, and unplayable. Sign him.
  19. Rugby fans know how to hijack a thread.
  20. More insight in that article than many i have read in the English press. My favourite is Spurs: "It's a team steeped in a mythic sense of preeminence that has little bearing on its present reality"
  21. In respect of his NZ heritage "It's Chris Woods time" to the tune of Business Time by Flight of the Conchords. (Admittedly - won't get sung that often)
