As much as Marti is out of his depth, clearly, the players are good enough to cruise this league IF they put the effort in and IF they play as a team. They’re not doing that. However, if Martin can’t get them firing on at least a couple of cylinders then he needs to go, and quickly. This is another shambolic appointment by people who know nothing about football. Embarrassing.

For whatever reason the players have obviously downed tools. They don’t believe in the manager and we don’t believe in them. On paper we have pretty much h the best squad in the league capable of easy promotion. In reality and mid table finish would flatter us massively at the moment. I’d bin Marti now. No more hanging on just in case. He isn’t good enough. There are a few managers around, whether they’d come or not is another question.

It’s a good question. Honest answer is, the moment we bottle 4th place second season on the trot. I said it then that we would see a rapid decline, and we have. Enzo did all he could. Had he stayed we’d of still been relegated last season. Fundamentals at the club are all wrong. We have further to fall I’m afraid. Was nice while it lasted.

In summary, apart from that stunning goal, we’ve been shit. Created absolutely nothing. Swansea edged it, but they’ve not been great either.

Hmm. Must have missed hit that 🤣🤣

Personally think we did enough to get something more from the game. A point away is still ok. We aren’t setting the league alight that’s true enough. We need to find some form and some confidence, we appear to have little of either, but we’re still in the mix. -

Too soon to say anything one way or the other about Caranza. He could come good or at least decent. He might just be shit. Wouldn’t want to condemn him so quickly, although I know it’s the FT way. -
Personally thought Soumare played well against Cov. First game he was shite, but since the he hasn’t met us down.
-
Seem to be finding it difficult to break down Coventry, who are pressing exceptionally well. Some brain dead passing from us. Most of the game it’s seemed like Cov have about 15 players on the pitch. Neither side been particularly dangerous, but Cov had edged it for me.

One for the ladies… and perhaps others. Just hope he knows where the net is. -
So how are we all feeling now the window has closed.

Least it’s not Justin Beiber

Squad is weaker overall. That cannot be classed as a good window. Strange goings on all round. I’d give it a 2 at best, but let’s not kid ourselves, this isn’t a 6, let alone a 7 or 8.

He loves it mate. It’s rarely wrong. You could do a lot worse than signing a bunch of wonderful kids.
-
Knowledge mate. An intimate and extensive knowledge of his performances, progress and likely potential. Ask my son. He’s a top scout.
-
…as shit?
-
Possibly because he’s potentially world class. Other than that, no idea.
-
Just get this guy in. Stop messing around (and yes, said in that voice few now will know or appreciate).

He said burning mate… -
The guy is an injury prone excuse of a player who the Sainted Nige wouldn’t have let near the place. An absolute joke of a signing I imagine we might make. Hope I’m wrong.
-
This guy is the nuts - potentially.

This is exactly why I get into disagreements about the ‘love in’ for us when we won the league. Nobody wanted us to do it outside of Leicester and real footie fans. The media played along abuse they had to, TV and the footballing powers literally hated it. Everything since has been out in place to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Bad for the game, good for the big boys. Personally I hope it all collapses under its own toxic weight.

Good business IF we do something with the money. Won’t be the last out. -
I actually quite enjoyed our only season in Division 1. Seems to be what our management are aiming for. Nice.
