Cooper needs a cleaner?

Heard from a mate of mine who is usually fairly accurate that we will be spending in the region of £60 million all in. Whether that includes the Fatawu fee I don’t know. More than I was expecting but likely less than we need to realistically stay up. We will start to see soon enough now.

At this point it would be beneficial if the big 6 just fuched off and formed their Stars and Stripes bonanza league. Leave the rest of us to get on with real football. When Man City win their legal challenge against the Premier League, which they likely will, the ground will shift irrevocably and the demise of our top league will be assured. They just want a closed shop. Even now the door is only just ajar. We rattled their cages so thoroughly that they never want to see a repeat of it.

I think he will have a good season. Great player. Could well be one of the worlds top wingers.

Little point moaning now really. We’ve got what we’ve got. He’s an honest and spectacularly ugly bloke who seems to invest heavily in his clubs. It could be a lot worse - mind you it could also have been better. We are faced with multiple challenges this season and getting behind the manager and the team is all we can do to help. I think we are likely to lose more than we gain before the season starts. I think those in charge see relegation in our future and that will be the thing planned for.

I think people should forget about us splashing much cash on transfers now. This is a take the money, balance the books and run season. Sure we will back Cooper for what it’s worth, but he hasn’t been employed with any long term vision in mind that’s for sure. As much as last season was tedious at times, the outcome was excellent and what we all wanted. The coming season will be brutal and barring absolute miracles we will be relegated. That also appears to be the mindset of the owner and his incompetent minions.
