'all a ya, bollocks!' -
He’s an October - February player. When it counts he’s nowhere to be seen.
-
He wasn’t. Came over, applauded. But was probably the first down the tunnel so Piper may have missed that.
-
If it makes it any better I was calling each & everyone of them ***** for the previous 90 mins, so I get where you’re coming from 😂
-
I got pelters for applauding Youri / a couple others yesterday. It was likely my last game of the season so also likely the last time I’ll see some of them in a Leicester shirt. I felt I wanted to show some appreciation, particularly to Tielemans. I think any fans applauding are either doing a similar thing to me, or are appreciative of the fact they at least came over rather than running down the tunnel.
-
The reason for the anger being directed at him isn’t that he’s not had a good season, it’s that when it has really counted for us in a Leicester shirt he’s been nowhere to be seen. He’s going to have made the best part of £20m from this football club in the last 4 years without a single moment where he’s come up clutch for us when it has really really mattered. He’s then got the audacity to say ‘we’ll be fine’ after Southampton & come out with those comments yesterday.

Leicester 2 - 2 Everton Post Match
daddylonglegs replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
im trying to describe this woman being kicked out of the ground last night with the 6 month old, but I can't find the pictures anywhere, does anyone have it -
You've got to look at it that way & you hope the players are too. Like Smith said, it was the worst we've played under him & we still didn't lose. That's three on the bounce without a defeat. We've not done that since January. Fulham are without their two best players & an important defender at the weekend. Plenty of positive signs.
-
You mean 2020 to 2022?
-
I’m done with him now. He reminds me more & more of demarai gray with every time I see him.
-
This is the case in basically every game we've played for the last 2 years. Ultimately if we don't beat Everton we deserve relegation. They're atrocious.
-
It does feel a bit like this after watching the game tonight. Been so frustrating to watch, I bet Forest can’t believe their luck.
-
We can’t rely on other teams unfortunately. Regardless of forest’s result tonight, we’ve got to win Monday & then hope for the best.
-
Just watched the highlights again, Barnes has two pretty good opportunities and both of them he totally messes up Really hope he steps it up in the last 5 games or so.
-
In fairness, that's two games in a row against notoriously dirty sides where we've gone 1 down & not lost.
-
It's insane that all Smith had to do was come in, pick our best players & show an ounce of humility to get the fans onside.
-
Previously the idea of setting up to not lose was a disaster because of a) Brendan's small man mentality b) didn't have the personnel in defence. We've now got someone installing confidence into these players & he's picking our best defenders. I don't mind a cautious, counter attacking approach tonight. Avoid an early goal & the Leeds fans will turn.
-
Yeah but he lost to Stevenage
-
As others have mentioned, it should've been a penalty for them on Faes. Can't remember us getting a 50/50 VAR call for a very long time, so I'm not too upset about it!
-
I think you're right - They probably are in the conversation - the Liverpool game certainly changed my mind in that they completely crumbled under the pressure. Having said that, they're still in a good position. Those chasing them are completely useless. We haven't won a game of football for 10 weeks. Forest & Southampton are toast. They're in a significantly stronger position than those chasing them, not just because of their league position, but because of how incompetent those behind them are.
-
Definitely agree with this in terms of the fact that we need to move on, & I'd have Albrighton nowhere near the XI. But.. Our current 'leaders' are: Jonny Evans: Made of papier-mache, not seen for more than 5 mins for 9 months James Maddison: Butthurt about his mate Brendan getting the sack, deletes Twitter when people aren't singing his praises Youri Tielemans: Head turned 18 months ago I don't think it's a totally wild thing to suggest that the dressing room could do with some of the spirit of 2014-2016. Albrighton would maybe bring that?
-
They're 4 points ahead of us mate! We've earnt 4 points in the last 3 months, so i think they'd rather be in their position than ours!
-
The fact that two of Forest, Leicester, Leeds, Everton will stay up is a pretty grim reflection of the quality of the league
-
I wouldn't even be thinking about Leeds as part of the relegation picture. It's gone from 9 teams at the international break who could go down, to it now being 4 (5 at a push...) Southampton & Forest are done. It's us or Everton for me!
