  1. If you think they're bad at making decisions as important as the managerial decision was back in June, just imagine how badly wrong they'll get the next one. They had 3 months to prepare for the Martin decision. They'll have to think very quickly here. We'll probably be in the bottom four with a squad of players not suited for a relegation fight, with no budget to spend in January as we've spent all our money on hiring Martin and his mates, before subsequently firing Martin. Genuinely could be a case where we see King/Sadler etc back in the hot seat.
  2. The reality is his football doesn’t work anywhere anymore. There’s an argument that if he was given an exceptional squad of players maybe 5 or 6 years ago, he might’ve done OK. The game has moved on and he won’t move with it. This will be a more costly appointment than Cooper and RVN combined if we don’t call a spade a spade and get rid soon.
  3. He’s obviously rubbish. He’s absolutely not at the level of a £20m footballer and he’s arguably not even at league one level. My point is that he keeps being picked & he’s not been sold. That’s not on him. It’s akin to the Ward situation under Rodgers.
  4. I must confess I’ve not got a sense of the tone towards Skipp, but knowing this forum it’s unlikely to be sympathetic or balanced. Skipp cannot be blamed for his fee being 4 times his market worth or for having 60 odd Caps for Leicester. Animosity towards him makes me feel slightly uncomfortable as he is so clearly not capable and it is through not fault of his own that he continues to be selected for a club like Leicester. Whenever I’ve watched him I’ve never once doubted his commitment or effort. He is limited beyond belief versus his £20m price tag but there are significantly larger problems at LCFC than him.
  5. If we can get them gone this side of Christmas it'll be an amazing achievement. So intrigued to see how Rudkin worms his way into a senior position under a new regime.
  6. the vast majority of the footballing community have decided he's an arsehole because he's behaved like an arsehole. It's not that deep.
  7. I once again implore you all to block the social media accounts. Life improves drastically when you're not subjected to the constant gaslighting.
  8. It's not to indicate he's likeable, it's to indicate he shouldn't be taken seriously. An unserious man reporting to an unserious chairman working for an unserious football club.
  9. I can see us lining up: Gunn, Bednarek Yoshida Vestegaard Valery Ward Prowse Winksy Romeu Bertrand Ings Redmond
  10. The chaos gets me fired up. I’ve got very limited emotions left towards the club based on how Aiyawatt & Rudders have run us into the ground whilst just consistently putting two fingers up to the supporters. This, however. This is great stuff. Electric. A lot of the other disdainful decisions they’ve made, the happy clappers over at KPFC are able to reframe as good for the club. There is no polishing this turd. Quite literally the least liked manager in the entire country, and they’ve sought him out to come and manage us, whilst putting the message out to their media gremlins that this is a ‘coup’ for Leicester. Just so good. It’s like living in an Orwell novel.
  11. I've lost interest in the club overall but my take here is that if Martin was going to come, he'd be here by now. No reason for them to drag this out unless there's either been a disagreement or we're still genuinely pleading with him to come. King for pre season looking more and more likely.
  12. There's only a need to reunite the fanbase if you believe that there's a divide. They do not believe there is a divide. They've got 22,000 season ticket solds. Business as usual.
  13. It’s the one relatively modern & smart thing the club have done in the past. Leak an idea and gauge fan reaction. Definitely could be. Only issue is they likely don’t have a plan B.
  14. FoxesTalk is a massive vacuum for the hatred of those two & Martin in particular. It’s not a ‘**** you’ to the fans. As much as I hate Rudkin & Aiyawatt, I genuinely believe the pair of them still believe this fan base is behind them, because I think by and large it is. The vast majority of those renewing STs or new ST Holders for next year will think Top’s the bees knees because he’s his father’s son & that the Yobs of Union FS pick on Rudkin for no good reason. In addition to that it’s highly unlikely they know who Russell Martin is. This is a fanbase that is passive at best & thick at worst. The combination of Dumb & Dumber, Martin & the KPFC brigade deserve each other.
  15. I am really struggling to put my best wishes for the club before any hopes I have for this season. I genuinely want nothing but the worst for Top, Rudkin & now Martin. The former two have pushed me to a stage where I think my hatred for them is starting to outweigh my love for the club. It is absolutely remarkable.
  16. He is, however, symptomatic of a series of completely shambolic decision making that the board has done. He has been a mid table (Arguably generous) championship player for the vast majority of his career, and yet he has spent the majority of his career at a Premier League club, earning Premier League wages. Then, when we need someone to play to a "Mid table" championship level, he is unable to do so, because the culture of the club is not about improving players, it's about inflating their wages & ego, whilst inflicting zero accountability for under performance. Hamza tries hard, sure. Any reputable club however would've let him go and try hard somewhere at a more appropriate standard about 6 years ago.
  17. 44 days since we knew what division we were going to be playing in during the 26/27 season. I don't want to, but you can forgive the leadership having a week off after the season to re-energise ahead of an important summer. However, that still leaves a month where we haven't even had a whiff of a rumour on a new manager. No other club of any reputation operates like this in the entire country. It's an absolute embarrassment, and to make things worse - I don't even think I care anymore.
  18. I would suggest that a venn diagram of season ticket holders who have given up their ticket & those who are anti Martin is just one circle.
  19. He almost certainly had too much power & influence when he was at the club but boy do we need someone like him now.
  20. I just did a random sense check of 4 or 5 blocks, they can’t have sold more than 2 or 3 thousand tickets. (official attendance: 27,875)
  21. Did they get applauded off?
  22. We rejected bids from Betis in the summer, because dumb & dumber rated him at £10m. Regardless of what the fee was, we should’ve taken the deal. There’s not a striker in our academy set up who could’ve done worse than him this year.
  23. Should’ve left as soon as Cooper didn’t start him in that opening game of the season last year. He was cooked and was never coming back from it. Absolutely sensational on his day. Not been the same player for years. Eventually I’ll wish him well but for now, along with the rest of them, he can do one.
