Completely agree - him giving it back is one of the more likeable things he's done. Shows he has an ounce of professional pride.

I hope he knew how prominent he is in many of our memories of the best days of our lives as Leicester fans. RIP

It’s been time to go for a while but the reality is this club doesn’t know how to sell players. The question we need to ask is would we rather get a humiliating fee for him a-la Hermansen or have him as an option this year and see him leave for free in the summer.

It's amazing that we sell a player we bought for £8m 2 years ago, for 25% of that price and anyone could deem the transfer to shed a "positive light" on the people who signed it all off

Again, this shouldn't be a personal thing. It's the same with Rudkin. It is fundamentally not these people's faults that they have been promoted above their capabilities & continue to be employed despite poor performance. It is not up to them to take the moral & professional highground and admit they're not up to the job, sacrificing what is likely to be a very enjoyable pay package. I can't wait for the hour leading up to the game on Sunday after the team is announced. It was absolute chaos on here when Cooper didn't pick Ricardo in his final XI before the first game of the season. I expect more of the same when we see big Bobby & Jordan up top for the might foxes on Sunday.

85 games Ricardo has missed according to Transfermarkt. I reckon that's 25/30% of the games. Not actually as bad as I thought it would be!

The other candidates all have too much baggage associated with them: Winks - his Seagrave stance is absolutely not the mentality of a leader. Coady - where do you start Mads - unlikely to be there Choudhury - cannot lead by example at a team trying to get promoted when you're a league one level footballer Anyone other than Ricardo would be bizarre & worrying in equal measure.

I wonder when he will leave. Presumably at some stage in this club's life he will leave. He's never, ever going to get a better job than the one he's in currently. You'd think the only way he leaves in the next 10 years or so is if Top sells.

With the exception of his 12 game stint at Parma, he has had a fantastic start to his managerial career. You'd think he's bought himself the entire season at Chelsea this year but I can't see it

Not to labour the point, but if last week (2 and a half months after being relegated) they "hoped to identify a preferred candidate", God only knows what the ambitions are for this week. The sky is the limit and we should all prepare ourselves for a huge week. Perhaps a kit released? Perhaps some pictures of Choudhury & Vestegaard "hard at work"? Perhaps they'll even present a contract to said preferred candidate? The club is building excitement for the season and boy oh boy are me and the rest of Coach 1 absolutely buzzing.
