there were people around me who didn’t stand for the penalty which sums up our support atm. Cov, forest home support so much better than ours. I put it down to not being the underdog and style of play isn’t that exciting.. we cruise through games and are expected to win. It is weird though as it was rocking 2013 -2017 and I suspect most season ticket holders then are still STH now?

I do agree with this tbf, we play like we did yesterday and we lose 4-0 to a team like Villa next year - we won 3-1 but make no mistake we didn’t play well, Swansea were just even worse than us

On another note the post match analysis from these so called pundits is atrocious

Genuinely think So’ton walk this league, we are way off them atm.. Ipswich and Leeds inconsistent so we should get 2nd but it’s nowhere near sealed and dealed

People leaving what could be another 10 mins left of the game for a huge few minutes where the team need the support. It’s an actual joke.. yet they stay last season to clap the players off who didn’t want to be here. Make it make sense

How bad is our home support?

I have to say - I used to go loads of away games 2010 - 2015.. a few more up until 2014 with great escape including West Brom away. I haven’t been to an away game until today for 8 years. I cannot believe how bad it is now (today) v back then.. I used to lose my voice after every away game even if we lost. Today I sat row N so fairly low down and was full of fans gorping up towards the top as if to say “start the chants”. Even when we scored there were no limbs.. I had to grab the people below me to even celebrate it was unbelievably bad. I’m actually glad I don’t spend what I use too going to away days compared to what I used to.. more chanting/bravado in the concourse and post match compared to what happens in the stands.. a real eye opener for me today for someone who used to go a lot compared to now..hopefully it will get better but I doubt it tbh. a lot of people on here give the old people stick and point the finger at them for not creating the away atmosphere but looking around today it was a lot of young people who weren’t arsed.. pathetic

Work with a cov fan, they are confident of a win and their biggest game in years (since playing us earlier this season). Sakamoto, Palmer, Hadji and O’Hare ones to watch apparently
