  1. We don't know the details or even if this is an issue, so a little premature some folk having a meltdown on here and social media. The same moaners now are the ones who also moan when we don't sign anyone - which we haven't been able to last few windows because of FFP compliance! Remember, we breached FFP with Vichai in 2013/14 and were fined so things were not all that rosy back then.

We've not seen the best of him and he still has much potential. Off the field he comes across very well - didn't moan/sulk, he's intelligent, has good experience, and seems very likeable.
  3. Success at a football club, like most organisations, is rarely down to just one individual - it's often when all the pieces fall in place and work together.
  4. A few seem to be rather ignorant of the fact that from day one Top had a major role in the club - it wasn't all his father.
  5. It is clear that most clubs have had to be extra cautious with transfers - the spend has been low compared to previous years. I do feel that the past decade or so of the "deadline day" and transfer window circus, often propagated by sports media, will slowly fizzle - real football isn't football manager whereby you're "good" if you buy several new players every 6m and spend loads cash. This nonsense about who has "won" the transfer window! Yes Leicester have made mistakes, yes we needed a CM, but we have to be pragmatic and not go OTT with the reactions. Those clubs that change half their team every 6m with dubious owners and financial assets are not to be envied.
  6. This is part and parcel of modern management. You can't always get what you want (even if what he wanted was entirely sensible). Clubs have to operate in frameworks. If he were to rant and flounce due to this window, he'd go down in many people's estimations.
  7. I think you could also argue that people who go to ad hoc games via a general sale make spend more on making it a "day out" incl at the club shop.
  8. I know a few people, whilst not Leicester fans, would love to visit and see a game at the KP - and it's quite annoying even for games that you know won't sell out, that they can't get a chance to go. It's a good way of attracting more supporters and building a larger base for the future - one we'll need with a bigger stadium!
  9. He's on the Quickly Kevin podcast this month, and comes across as such a thoroughly nice man, and spoke well of City 👍🏾
  10. A draw would have been fair - neither team did enough to win - we had two excellent changes to score and if it wasn't for the crossbar and an excellent save, we would have drawn or even won. We had plenty of possession but not enough in their box, but defended well. They controlled midfield well and took their chances. Leeds are a good team on form and I felt we didn't deserve to lose that. We move - we can still be pleased with our start of this season. Plenty of promise and to build on.
  11. I really like him for what I have seen so far off the pitch and on it. Natural leader - something we lacked last season. Probably not having the game time he was expecting, but with a long season ahead he will get a run.
  12. Many congratulations to him! He clearly loves this football club - it's a passion and not just a business.
  13. Interesting article in The Guardian today: ‘It is going to be strange, emotional’: Andy King relishing Leicester return https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/sep/21/andy-king-leicester-return-bristol-city-strange-emotional
  14. Brilliant result and no weekend spoilt!
  15. Was on Monday Night Club on Radio 5 Live last night, spoke very well! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001qdjf?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile (main Leicester bit is 1:08)
