  1. I think they live in a bubble and genuinely have no idea how bad they look. Leeds is a massive city and it's a one club city - so they all just egg each other on with nobody to counter.
  2. Bang on. He's been on a major sulk the past few months and they could "do a Leicester" next season!
  3. The Premier League is basically 3 divisions in itself: A) Man City, Arsenal, B) Man U, Chelsea, Tottenham, Villa, Newcastle, Liverpool C) The rest The gap between finishing around 8th and the top six is wider, and 8th and the bottom teams narrow. Remember a couple of seasons ago when we finished 8th and we were terrible! Brighton have peaked and I suspect may well falter. Clubs like Brentford will sadly struggle despite doing so well the past few seasons. Everton will struggle as they always seem to every year. The difference with us going up is that we are not a "traditional" championship team - we have a lot of Premier League experience and so should not feel such a gulf compared to say Ipswich.
  4. Moaning is part of supporting. We have an emotional investment that often trumps logic! It's a passion. It often feels like it's more now, but much of it is that we hear more because of our interconnectivity. Decades ago people would have been moaning the same in the pub, now it's online and on social media. Perhaps if it is greater, it may be that we're an increasingly unhappy nation due to factors such as mental health, education, economic crisis, shit government, housing etc. For the first time in memory, younger people have much fewer advantages that their parents and grandparents. And then we're also flooded with nonsense extremist stuff through news/tv/online.
  5. If you're KDH, why would you join any of those clubs he's been linked with - none of them are a step up from City. Aside from the money (which wouldn't be that much different).
  6. Leeds fans just showing why their club is disliked by so many! Totally deluded! Pleased for Ipswich - they deserve no 2 spot and their journey to the Premier League is one of the few highlights and stories which reminds all football fans why we love the game.
  7. He deserves a massive send off on Saturday - big goals, big moments, and part of a very special era of our history. And comes across as an entirely likeable guy. He's got a lot of respect from Villa fans too, just shows how good a pro he is.
  8. Big respect to him for leaving Spurs and dropping down a division to join us - many pros wouldn't. He's got a wise head on him!
  9. He's actually a decent looking chap! I think she's Spanish from the south. Bit different to Lestah 😅
  10. This is going to be amazing! Well worth getting in you seat early! Well done Union FS - you are a credit to our club!
  11. Some of the chat here is really crazy. Having other people celebrate Leicester's success does not take anything away from your enjoyment and relationship with the club. Let people do and celebrate how they want - including the family who own the club!
  12. He was back to his masterful best yesterday after an understandable lull recently. Really good to see him do so well - so integral to the way we play - class guy on and off the pitch!
  13. He rightly should be celebrating with the team. It's fantastic seeing how close he is with the players and coaches - and there appears to be mutual respect back from them. How many times do you see that at other clubs? Most fans of other clubs would be envious of having an owner that invest as much emotion and care into the Club.
  14. Any bars pre/post match doing anything special to celebrate?
  15. Every club is different, but what a unique and fantastic journey we've had over the past 30 years or so - privileged!
  16. Yeah - it's always sad when you don't feel a part of it. I remember Matty James opening up about it when we won the Premier League - he was injured through all of it.
  17. It was a free even but limited tickets - think it "sold out" quite quickly last week. A few hundred in one of the hospitality lounges in the West stand. Was sponsored by Jamesons who provided the drink!
  18. Was anyone at the KP thing the Club organised? It was actually really well organised and nicely done. Good atmosphere after the match - probably helped by the free beer and whisky!! Kudos to the club for arranging!
  19. Yeah 👍🏾
  20. The biggest thing is enjoying watching and going to the football. More often than not getting a good result, the fans feeling good, and weekends not ruined!
  21. My parents are visiting Singapore right now and they went to a light show where they played Voulez Vous - can't help think it was for 🦊😀
  22. QPR played well against us at home, and even though we won at theirs, it was close! If they play anywhere near like this next season, they'll be top 6.
  23. Looks good and nice for the fans! Think they did something similar for the Man U 1-1 match in 2015/16.
  24. Fan ramblings on a football forum isn't always reflective of the general fan feeling
  25. The penalty issue last night typified the issue that team has - too many young, arrogant, overpaid players, playing as individuals and not as a team. It's a hard job managing that lot, and they're all on very long contracts!
