Sorry to read about the troubles you're having. Just to be clear, I'm far from impressed with much of the way things have gone since they came in and some of the scandals have pissed me off no end. As much as people might feel Labour are held to a higher standard in office than the Tories, it's no excuse when they don't stay above that standard. I can only speak from personal experience though. You look at the alternatives and nothing they would do differently would make anything better for the people I care about.

Extra childcare hours, bereavement leave for pregnancy loss, dealings with the NHS have been much quicker and more efficient (in my experience) to think of a few off the top of my head. Plus, feeling a better sense of security for the future with the planned new stuff on school uniform pricing, breakfast clubs, increased workers' rights for those on zero-hours contracts etc.

I've noticed the tangible benefits for me and my family from Labour's policies since they got in. They've not been perfect because no government is, but they have been better (so far) than anything in the 15 years before them.

He hasn't bowled a siell of more than four overs in white-ball cricket for three years. He's being thrown to the wolves being chucked into this. -

Mulder's One Day Cup final appearance for Leicestershire is the last time anyone in either of today's sides played a domestic List A game in England. Says it all... -
The biggest German city I've not visited and I absolutely must. Always wanted to go to Minatur Wunderland.

Old blokes at my cricket club used to talk about the place like it was Mecca in the 70s if they drove up to Leicester for a night out after a win. Couldn't believe they were talking about the same gaff after the first time I experienced it.

Correct. It's far from a perfect metric. The way things are now it's so rare fior any pro cricketer, whatever their background, not to have at least got on a private school scholarship at some point.

Interesting stat...

There's a nice view of the green in front of our house from our baby daughter's bedroom. I love pointing out the trees and the field to her when she gets up. It makes her smile. I can't do that tomorrow morning now because some cvnt's decided this evening a flag cable tied to a lamppost looks better. Fvck off.

Half a Vale best bitter at the Euston Tap yesterday. Quite summery for a best, hit the spot nicely.

Tell everyone to back the lads. Get the lyrics to the song about doing that wrong. Textbook.

Yeah, ticked The Moorcroft off while I was having tyres changed down the road earlier this year!

Decent micropub scene getting going there too. My wife's a native and hates the place but I think it's great. Underrated because most just carry on along the M55 to Blackpool if they fancy a mad one up that way.

They are now.

Saw him against Notts last week, they bowled him through and he took 4. They cashed in after as the rest weren't up to much.

What did you expect in C1?
-
Yep. One of our own poisoned by this club culture into hating his own fans, rather than just taking his medicine. Fvcking horrendous.

Played a few 2s games for them, Kent and ourselves according to Cricket Archive. He's Lincolnshire developed though.
-
I wasn't moaning? Just saying he had likely never been in a position to be on our radar if you look at where he's played his cricket. Plus, Mike went to Loughborough Grammar and Kimber was a Lincolnshire product, so not like we poached them from Notts. Rehan, I'll give you. I couldn't possibly say.

Seen this, but other sources say Kettering. Either way he's a Tonbridge schoolboy (amazed he's not got an England gig yet based on that!) so don't think he's one that we let slip.

Missed Budinger's hundred.
