It's a wildly undeserved reputation in the modern era. The English have been the best behaved fans in Europe for years now. On a more general point, I think this has been a great tournament for organic fan culture. Germany's relaxed attitude to flags, banners, standing etc have really added to the action on the pitch. Doesn't feel anywhere near as sanitised as a regular international tournament.

Your choice but I'd advise voting for a party in favour of PR instead of just sitting at home. Nobody in charge is going to assume you want change if you just sit at home on Thursday.
