Interesting bit in the press today about Vardy calling a team meeting and the outcome being that players weren’t taking attacking risks. Two games on and Abdul has had 5 goal involvements. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. He needs to back himself more because his potential ceiling is elite.

I find in modern sport, when there’s two well match led teams are playing with differing levels of motivation, it tends to make a massive difference. Millwall and Plymouth definitely outfought us. Having seen the video of him throwing Abdul around in the changing room and dancing like a lunatic, I don’t think he was too fussed about Tuesday’s performance. It was definitely some kind of media face, some kinda weird Pep like deflection.
