It already is a farce, you’ve got World Cup winning captain Fabio Cannavarro and his Uzbek team getting basically strip searched on an airport runway. You’ve got referees that can’t get into the country. You’ve got fans that have to pay hundreds of dollars just to get to a stadium as they’re only accessible by car. As we saw with Russia and Qatar, it’s easy to forget about the bad stuff once the football starts and the games are actually really good but it’s still an utter disgrace what’s happening. And if the games are similar to how football has been over the past 1/2 seasons, then it’ll be a bad spectacle. Also it has little to do with Trump, more the post Reagan American system that’s been built. If anything Trump’s enthusiasm and friendship with Infantino will eventually lead to problems being solved.

Yeah Rubio defo wants a run at 2028 (and probably stands a good chance).
