Singing/Standing Section Updates
Sir Steve Howard replied to niyaminski's topic in Leicester City Forum
Absolutely nothing, it's a large reason why the singing section is nowhere near as good as it could/should be. People too stubborn to move, so stay in singing section but refuse to sing. Even seen the odd person sitting down. Literally cutting your nose off to spite your face. But if they want to stay there is nothing stopping them. It's your classic lose-lose situation but some are very attached to 'THEIR SEAT'. -

Fastest over ever by an England bowler. Then breaks his own record next over. All 6 above 94mph, insane -

Dropped twice though, did well to capitalise but shouldn't overlook the fact the he shouldn't have got past 54 -
The euros is obviously so clear of the world cup but that's beside the point. Hosting it in Qatar/Saudi with abominable human rights records and alcohol being prohibited, nice. Plenty of other Asian countries knocking about. As I said money talks. USA/Mexico/Canada not as bad but the travel distances required for fans is pretty mental, at least it appears they've tried to vaguely have group games in close proximity. Main gripe with US is the shit public transport and over-reliance on cars; not conducive to what fans want, which is drinking in city centres then public transport to game. Imagine they'll attempt to put measures in place for this for WC. Your average NFL stadium is out of town with a car park surrounding it that looks like it belongs at O'Hare international. A few exceptions to this (?) but on the whole it's shit. MLS stadiums could be better but 11/11 US WC stadiums are NFL.

The world cup has gone to the dogs unfortunately. Qatar, USA, 3 continents, Saudi

I will cheers. Give me following Leicester any day

Funny that you say this, was looking at doing the double of these last season and was a nightmare, ended up not booking anything. Are they kept apart on purpose? Don't understand it as they're close but not that close.

Are you saying astronomical ticket prices were out of US control? Surely will be the same for world cup or worse. I've been to a few 'soccer' games in the US and the prices are diabolical. Imagine paying $14 for a beer and they just whip a can out from under the counter then ask for a tip. Awful world cup host choice, full of people who wouldn't know what a football was if it smashed them in the face, but money talks unfortunately.

Agreed, no need for such a big swing. Celebration wise, must be like being 4-0 up, concede 5 then bag a 90+8 equaliser -

Mental this, incredible celebration as well. No glove for quicker shy at the stumps? Don't think I've ever seen them ditch glove before ball even bowled. How many times do you get to see 1 run needed for win, 1 ball remaining, 1 wicket in hand in FC cricket? -
Some of the speeds that they're going up huge climbs, mind blowing

Not ideal but bit over 2 miles to the station from ground. Last train to bham at 22:40 should give enough time (just) to walk there after game done at 21:40ish, presuming you're able -
Based on this comment I imagine what you know about Russia could be written on the back of a postage stamp

Did Bournemouth on a Tuesday night in 2016, somehow wound up on Coach 1. Swore I'd never use FT again and I've stuck to that. Would rather do a lengthy stretch in Guantanamo -
