A doddle 😂 the marathon has humbled me. Played football last night, legs started to feel human again before it so I thought I’d just coast through it… 2 minutes in my right glute has gone and I think it’s a bad one. What a tit.

I wonder how much of the nose/breathing issues have been down to the conditions, but that’s definitely a learning curve for what I need to consider if I do anything similar. I got my first uninterrupted nights sleep last night so I feel better this morning. 2026 sounds decent. I’m very curious about ultras myself, have you found much about what mileage you need to put in to train for that kind of mileage? I think my plan for next year will probably be a very flat marathon early in the year and probably, section me now, the Eryri again.

I’m pretty broken still from Saturday. Immediately after I stopped my nose wouldn’t stop running and I’ve had a rough ride with asthma as well. My upper body has decided to join the pain party today as well, so I’m obviously playing football tomorrow night ☠️

How was the weather where you were all day? I can laugh about it now but I don’t really know how to explain how bad it was out there at times 😂. I’ve seen stories of people being pulled off the course because they had turned blue.

It would require every club to do, and some are willing to gamble on players. Nothing stopping us from doing it, but it could (and I know we are absolutely wank so probably wouldn’t) make a difference to the players we can sign.

I recon the footage would show her getting thrown out and then the van rocking tbh.

**** a duck, not even sure what to say about that. Mega pleased with my time unofficial chip time of 3:55:19. I’m beyond drenched, think it was hailing 5 miles in. walked from mile 21-24, pretty much skied down mile 25 which was mental. Finished 358th out of about 3600/700 I think.

In an extremely cruel twist of fate, this is the view from the place I’m staying at… it’s literally the hill I have to run up and down at miles 21-24

yeah that 25th mile looks bad. Watched a video of a guy with a go pro strapped to him and finished 10th, all you kept hearing down that hill was “oh god” and “oh no”. Also saw the video posted on the Facebook group of everyone stacking it down that hill 😂

Why this year specifically? We got relegated in a pathetic way and are currently a long way from being a Premier League club let alone champions. IMO, some people within the club need to stop living in the past and realise where we are now, and aim to put that right.

Conditions look pretty decent for Leicester don’t they, good luck to everyone. Ive been eating all of the carbs in sight for the past 2 days and head down to Llanberis tomorrow. My feelings go from excitement to pure dread and doubt which I guess is normal, I’m sure I’ll get round but would love to hit my target time.

It’ll be King 100%. I think the reality of this season is starting to hit home to people. When you appoint someone that’s highest level has been QPR, on a free and being willing to take a pay cut while being told to sell all of our players and not bringing anyone else in and due a points deduction plus owners who want out, what did we expect? Did people think we would be running away with the league?
