We were in League 1 once after all.

Anyone that doesn’t eat crisps can’t be trusted IMO.

Leaning towards the option that saw us not score a goal at home in 4 months, interesting. Allowing a manager to rebuild a squad when he’s got next to zero support from fans and has shown the players nothing to convince them he’s the man is suicide, I recon we go with your option.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Oh yeah I agree with all of the above, but it highlights the absurdity of the whole situation. -

£22m seems pretty low, probably recognition of the fact we really need to sell. -
Hold the front page, hold the back page, a Leicester City social media rep has posted something that isn’t happy birthday
-
Even worse that he will probably turn us down.

Fair, but a club haemorrhaging cash with potential points deductions and/or transfer bans? We aren’t going to be that attractive are we.
-
How much debt do they have? How much are their assets valued at? What is their projected revenue for the next 3 years? Not sure we can really compare there but also, if Bohley ****s off they could also be in the shit.
-
Most football clubs do, but nobody is going to buy a club that’s pretty much guaranteed to lose £100m in its first year.
-
Yep, the bottom line is exactly what I mean. At the minute, we are a complete drain on whoever owns us and will be until the bulk of the current squad are gone or we go up this season.
-
Intrinsically linked I completely agree, I wondered if Top no longer being the KP CEO and officially not being owned by Top meant it was either him pumping the money in personally or we didn’t get it. We aren’t exactly going to be an attractive purchase are we? These Macquary loans will be what buries us.
-
The thing is, did we want Cooper because of what I said- we were going to just take the Prem money and run? Then the visions have become misaligned and someone has authorised some spending? Either way, it doesn’t scream success does it.
-
I think as a minimum, we are making them decisions to go up and take the money and run which I could understand more if we hadn’t have absolutely wasted the best part of £60m last summer. Being a Premier League club is obviously more attractive to a buyer but making us more sustainable all round would also.
-
Re not paying the players etc, aren’t we owned by Top and not KP?
-
Leuven?

hopefully pretty soon

Shocked that Larb sticks aren’t propping their organisation up tbh.

50/50 on this. New CEO painting a bleak picture to make himself look like a hero or we are in a whole world of trouble.
-
Rather than make broad swipes at anyone with an opposition opinion, tell us why Top is doing a good job in the 2 businesses he is in charge of.
-
Less arseholes on show there than at the training ground.

Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")

We end up with an actual Anus. -
He’s tried to hang onto their coat tails to further his career, not a shock.
-
If you read the article, it points to KP massively profiting from corruption. I think it could be argued that even Vichai’s empire wasn’t built based on business acumen.
