It really depends on how much faith I’ve got in my own ability. If he’s as good as he looks, he plays for us next season and developed quicker while being able to get a move to a top team in a year or two. Going to Man City now probably means he doesn’t get close to a Prem first team for another 3/4 years.

Yep, learning from our mistakes. Sell at the right time and reinvest in cheaper players who hopefully add value and can be sold in 2/3 seasons. Problem is when the recruitment is shit, and they haven’t set the world on fire with them in the last 2 seasons, Cunya excluded.

The drop off they will need to do is so big I think this is unlikely. They will make a decent profit on the few they sell should mean they can spend, if they do that relatively wisely I recon they will still be fine.

I’d be worried about a lack of experience when our club is in such a state.
