Ben Nelson signs new contract until 2027
ElusiveEd replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
How long did it take for him to tell you he was Ben Nelson's dad? A micro second? Don't get me wrong, he came over a nice bloke but there's being proud and then there's a weirdness to going round the bar striking up very strange random opening lines of conversation with just about every fan in there (and outside) only to follow it up with, and before you can get a single word out in a bewildered response, "I'm Ben Nelson's dad" I do think there was someone he missed out a few streets away but when I saw him telling another table outside I jokingly told him I didn't rate him and couldn't see a future for him. He took it in good humour tho. Anyway, his kid did well yesterday on his league debut so hopefully he kicks on to a a great carrier with us. -
Some good bantz between us lot in block P and their fans yesterday. Despite 1 young lad with obv anger issues the Argyle lot were good lads. Felt a bit sorry for em, they were informed mid match their train from Brum to Plymouth that evening had been cancelled and despite their worries not knowing how to get home and going 4-0 down still loudly sang their hearts out, especially in that last 10 mins, backing their team until the final whistle. But of course, most of our lot wouldn't have heard that, they'd already left.

Can only imagine the opposite. He was an embarrassment in a pre match bar at Tranmere, he's going to be insufferable now. -
The main reason I like this is that Nacho is nowhere to be seen.

Would also love 2 for this if any spare. Please DM me if you can help. Cheers

Have noticed recently at quite a few away games a good amount of empty seats. Sometimes in blocks as if they were never for sale in the first place but, like at Sheffield the other night, there were around 20-25 just in the area around where we were stood so couldn't work out how that happens.

Everywhere We Goooo Everywhere We Goooo We're Leicester Boys Making **** All Noise Everywhere We Goooo...... Remember, you heard it here first!
-
If anyone has 2 (Or even 1) last minute spares for this I'll happily swap them for the amount you paid for them. Please PM if you can help. Cheers.

Would love 2 for this but 1 would be OK as could leave my son behind. Does that make me a bad dad?
-
Frustrates the **** outta me. I'll always be grateful for some of the goals he's scored for us, some really important ones and some worldies, but his lack of control with his first touch and a brain that's always 2 seconds behind his feet has always been a bone of contention for me and I will be relieved when he leaves us as he's becoming more of a liability this season than ever. I want to dislike him as a player but I still can't!
-
In need of 2 for this ideally but 1 would suffice if anyone knows they can't make it already. Please DM me if you can help. Cheers

2 needed for this if anyone can help? Cheers.

Doesn't have much luck does he?....... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12713779/Former-Premier-League-star-loses-782-000-following-failure-restaurant-business-latest-restaurant-1-1m-debt.html

You could change the ha for a u and still be right.

Stewards and plod doing their absolute best to spoil any fun between fans in block P and their end. Utter tossers on power trips. The second you turn towards them to react to a situation they are on you to look towards the pitch. It's getting ridiculous now!

You serious? Where were you? Upper Tier? Because loads around us in the lower tier were saying it was the best atmosphere of the season so far from start to finish. Admittedly 2nd half better with absolute scenes at the sending off then from the 2nd goal to the tube station it was excellent. Great that the players came close after the final whistle and joined us in the celebrations. (Apparently with Enzo's approval and instructions)
-
Sorry can't help but have you tried Grindr?
-
Makes me think, have we got Enzo half on our side? Might be worth trying to capitalise on that?
-
That gives me hope but we are not UFS in block P. I'm resigned to waiting to see if anything comes of the safe standing issue or moving singing sections etc, or, if I have to wait that long, the new stand expansion.

You just get the impression there's no point mate. You'd just get the usual lip service generalised response and absolutely zero would be done about it. Couldn't ever imagine the club turning round with instructions to go easy on us as the sanitisation of the fan experience is too far advanced for them to go back. The abuse is thrown from both sides but the stewards and police are always concentrating on us, (unless some of the opposition fans go too far but that's rare) They are allocated the same places to manage game after game as they are building a picture of who to watch, yet there is nobody to watch! It's just "words" and gestures, most of the time with the odd bit of personal abuse, maybe about appearances or dress code etc, shouted aggressively, sometimes with a laugh in mind but with an acceptance by both sides that this is, and always has been, football on the terraces. I got told pretty aggressively by a Tottenham fan last year that I have a big nose (TBF I kinda do) but I pointed at the blokes rather rotund wife stood the other side of him and shouted "Well look at your wife, she's fuc*ing big all over" He was MORTIFIED and couldn't respond. He just stared until I gave him the finger also. 1-0 to me but guess who the stewards came to and was told to ignore them and watch the game?

She's been between P block and the away fans for at least 2 seasons now and if you answer back and protest at the micro managing of the non situation the police come down to back her up. The slightest raised voices and even mild language between them and us and she's on it. Told us in Feb to be nice because it was Valentines. The general crowd control guys stand there in silence just watching and listening and often just smile at the shared comments and abuse but she's their supervisor, over zealous and tries to subdue even the mildest of banter. She'd find problems if we stood there offering to have tea and biscuits with them FFS!

To the "Football in a Library" chant last night, directly at their fans I tried to get started..... You can't even read You can't even read Thick northern bas*ards You can't even read Got around 20 going with it but it's like pulling teeth
