  1. We play our best by far When we've got Vestergaard Repeat Cheesy as **** to the tune of We Buy Any Car.
  2. Cheers for that BKLFox. No amount of tinkering with the settings on my current TV's gets the displays how they looked in store so I always suspected what they showed was by some sort of technical wizardry that would be impossible to replicate at home with regular viewing methods. And yeah, Blu-ray? I took my Blu-ray player to the tip a few years ago, yet when I bought it, it was the future. Cheers again for the explanation.
  3. Kinda related to this thread but could anyone answer this?...... Are the pictures that appear on the TV screens in shops such as Currys reflective of what you'd get at home? No doubt the promo stuff they screen are probably subject to the best 4K or even 8K recording but once you got one home and linked a Sky Q box through it would the picture quality - with the right settings - be of the same outstanding, deep rich quality you see on display? I seem to remember one of my existing Ultra HD TV pictures looked utterly stunning when in Currys but I never felt I could replicate it once I got it home. What exactly do Currys do to get that picture. Tech has moved on and I'll be in the market to upgrade our main TV soon but I just wondered if anyone manages to get the same quality as is on display in the stores and what they do/use to get it. Cheers.
  4. One day to go so here's my last go at looking for 2 for this one if anyone can help out. Please DM me if so, always seem to fall short of our ST tier.
  5. This one didn't get to our ST tier but if anyone with 2 spares for this could DM me I'll l happily take them off your hands. Cheers.
  6. Nice one. Thanks for that. 👍
  7. Anyone in the know as regards parking around or close to the ground?
  8. Top, Cancel your ****ing honeymoon, get over here and sack this useless joke of a DOF!
  9. Anyone with 2 spares for this? Please DM me if so, will happily take them off your hands. Cheers.
  10. So that's at least 14 years notice they've had .....and it's STILL a shithole.
  11. We had to move from our usual seats in P block to let the Brum fans have their allocation. Decided to give SK1 in the singing section a go. Loved every minute of it. Loud, constant and created a vibe/atmosphere we've been missing like hell stuck up the other end. We sang our hearts out for the full 94 mins and it sounded bloody impressive in there today. Might be looking to change our ST seats it was that good! Bravo.
  12. Many years back I used to drive a Lexus SUV, I pulled over one night to send my then GF a text as we'd just had a row and I'd stormed out of her house. Seconds later, as I'm about to text, a police car pulled up at the side of me, I glanced down at the passenger plod in the car who was winding his window down so I did the same. He enquired if I was OK to which I replied that I was and that I'd just pulled over to send a text etc. He then asked if I'd been drinking that night which triggered something in my head and I replied, whilst looking confusingly around the interior, "Why, Is there a fat girl in my car?" Almost immediately the drivers side door of the plod car opened and out stepped a rather large police woman who had been obscured from my view due to the differing heights of the vehicles. Oh, FFS I thought, I'm in trouble now. She ventured round the back of their car and asked me to step out of mine etc.... Long story short, I blew positive at the roadside (Much to her glee I sensed) but under the limit at the station but during a quiet moment whilst processing me the passenger plod did inform me that he was dying to laugh at my comment but as I could see, his colleague wasn't the smallest of lasses was she? Lesson learnt tho.

  14. Would love 2 for this if anyone already knows they can't make it. Cheers
  15. 2 articles! I POSTED 2, JUST 2, ARTICLES!
  16. I can remember hearing in disbelief that we, little ole' Leicester City, were rumoured to be signing such a high profile marque manager as him. Wouldn't believe it. Then it was announced. I thought we were going places and would be massive. Whatever happened, I enjoyed those days and think he put us on the map in a lot of ways. Wish him the best for whatever time he has left and thoughts are with him and his family.
  17. I saw this news earlier but thought better of it, never, after yesterday, was I going to post that! I post 2 sad stories of ex players and it’s like I’m the worlds worse doom monger. 🤷‍♂️🤣 You’re right tho, sad news indeed.
  18. Your wife says she will be heading home after she's had a shower. Or is that not good news?
  19. Another sad story about one of our heroes..... https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/25303104/premier-league-winner-danny-simpson-take-life/ Hope he remains in a good place now.
  20. A few business and tax decisions gone wrong it seems if this story is to be believed...... https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/25303404/liverpool-emile-heskey-facing-bankruptcy/ Loved him as a Leicester player so hope he finds a way out of these problems.

  22. Cheers, Thought it might be FA cup related but couldn't remember what day the Swansea game was anyway. They come thick and fast in this league.
  23. Have I missed something as I had a text around 2 hours ago saying this game has been postponed. Thought someone would have already posted about it as I came on here to find out why.
  24. Don't know how old this info is but it's got 2023 at the bottom of the page for "All rights reserved" reasons so might still be relevant..... https://www.awaygames.co.uk/away-day-guides/coventry-city-away/#1467742947293-3ab1755b-3383 I've just followed a link from the parking page and paid £10 to park in car park P1 which is 5-10 mins walk to the ground and opens 3 hours before KO.
  25. You know what, I remember that being the case. 100% There were lots of uncertainty before the game as to what the situation was and it only took one person to spark up the inevitable.
