I decided to avoid the game all together and played golf instead! I was following on BBC live text and this forum. What really struck me was the forum talking about how bad Soumare was but the live text on BBC were singing his praises. Especially in the first half. I have watched MOTD and it doesn't really give any sort of view of how we played. The one key thing was seeing the goal.....in days gone by we would have had the likes of Huth and Morgan literally throwing their bodies on the line to block shots and genuinely loving defending with their backs against the wall. Fast forward a few years and we have Wout Faes.....who is also undroppable. Mental.

The performance we put in against them at home was one of the worst things I've seen. As bad as the Holloway days!

Losing is one thing. The gulf in class and lack of quality at this level is understandable given the awful investment in the team. BUT the lack of fight and visible effort is not acceptable. Just jogging about the trying to get to the end of the 90 mins without doing anything spectacular is so puzzling to me.

I was sat in good view of him today and I found it really interesting. He was pulling his hair out trying to get them to move the ball forward. When a midfielder or winger would turn back and pass it backwards he was visibly agitated. Clearly the team has a huge disconnect to what he's asking them to do.

Yeah it feels to me he's just hoping it all comes together instead of being proactive. Equally I think it's his way of sticking 2 fingers up at the board for lack of signings and wants the sacked to get the pay off. I'd do the same tbf.

It's crazy how many empty seats there are. The club would never had expected to be giving NHS discount to premier league games. People have a lot to think about. The club internally will be blaming half term and inflation etc. But ultimately it's people are just so beyond pissed off with the club.

For me it was done the day we got pumped by Everton. We were crying out for any sort of positive moment. Getting a bit of luck and everything falling our way....we got that at spurs. To then follow it up with that Everton performance was unforgivable. In the great escape season the club didn't feel this divided. And I remember not being wildly pissed off with the players as much as I am most weekends now.
