Ticket exchange thread 2017/18 (Wanted/For Sale)

I still have two paper tickets (sat together in J3) in hand for Burnley. I can't go and no one in my circle is free or inclined. Be a shame if they were wasted! I live in London and will probably need to to post them tomorrow to ensure arrival. Can send next day delivery or recorded if preferred. Face value is £88 but open to offers below fv. -
Riyad Mahrez - The great Artist
An Away Move replied to The whole world smiles's topic in Leicester City Forum
In The Guardian today:- 6) Mahrez treading water at Leicester Riyad Mahrez showed passion and edge at the London Stadium, albeit quite a lot of it was reserved for the moment Claude Puel substituted him, drawing a notably sulky walk from the pitch. Mahrez was “disappointed” Puel said, but the fact is Arthur Masuaku and Cheikhou Kouyaté had chased him down and pushed him to the edge of this game. Mahrez has been a wonderful player for Leicester, and he showed flashes of his brilliance on the ball against West Ham. But eight goals and seven assists in a year and a half since winning player of the year is evidence of a man treading water. Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Internazionale and Barcelona have all, reportedly, shown varying degrees of interest in the Algerian. It would surely be best for everyone now if that precious, slightly fragile talent was cashed in on sooner rather than later and Mahrez asked to stretch himself a little more. Barney Ronay -

I have two tickets together in J3 for Burnley at home and can no longer make it. £44 each (face value). -
Answering my own question! It's not possible.
-
I have two memberships. Anyone know if it is possible to 'downgrade' one of them for a child's ticket. For the Chelsea game I'd like to take a 6 year old as my +1
-
Just so people are aware - home loyalty points only get activated when your ticket is scanned at the turnstiles. Simply purchasing the ticket does not allocate you the point. Especially useful to know if you are moving up a loyalty bracket. Just wasted half an hour trying to purchase a ticket for Chelsea. My account shows 22 points, but until I actually attend the Brighton game I am actually still on 21 points with one point 'pending'.

Have we gone from 5000 seats being available for the former Gold, Silver & City Fox Members to 2000 being available under this new scheme? 1000 for those with the higher threshold of points and 1000 balloted? I might be wrong about this but I seem to remember in the first year of Gold Membership that 5000 or 2000 of us were guaranteed seats if we wanted them. It's changed a lot since then.
-
Is that the case? Or do those of us on 17 and 19 points etc., stay on those points until the end of the season. I'd be pleasantly surprised if it was a 'live' loyalty points system.
-
I'm in exactly the same boat. In the Great Escape Season and when we won the league I attended a lot. Last season much less so (had a new girlfriend, etc.,). So I am gutted they based loyalty on one season alone. I have gone from being able to get 2 seats next to each other for Everton & Atletico Madrid to having to ballot. When I had a moan at the club about them basing loyalty on just the one season they told me it was the most fair system to our newer fans who can't get a look in at the moment. They didn't want the bridge to be too big between old members and newer fans seeking tickets. All part of their strategy for growth. I get that, but I am basically ****ed now for getting tickets.

I just successfully linked one of my membership accounts to the new website. I have two membership accounts though. It appears to be the case that you can only link one at the current time. **Update: Just logged on again and my second account is now linked. Only showing 15 loyalty points for last season though (default for former Gold Foxes). Points for matches attended not on yet it would appear. -
Seeing as the maximum possible points is 34 I think you must already know that you're going to be absolutely fine, no?
-
The previous system worked really well for those of us who live far from the ground, especially with multiple memberships so friends can go to. The new system will screw those folk over if they didn't attend many home games last season.
-
I wrote to the club having a bit of a moan. Here's a portion of the reply: 'Throughout the entire process on deciding what was best for the club in relation to memberships for next season, our aims of rewarding loyalty was the core foundation. I can assure you that our research process was thorough and took into consideration all possible avenues. Supporters were consulted, through various forms, and many other methods of research were carried out. Whilst I understand your frustration, I will have to respectfully disagree that it penalises loyal supporters. The reason why we decided to only use the points from last season were that we felt had we used points accumulated for three seasons, it would have created a bigger gulf between existing members and new members. Furthermore, one of our key objectives is to encourage growth, therefore had we given existing members further points based on past seasons beyond 16/17, it would have been contradictory to what we are trying to achieve. With this in mind, we were took the decision to reward loyalty by differentiating the amount of points awarded based on the type of membership held last season. Had you of not made the decision to not prioritise Champions League games last season, and prioritised Premier League games, your total number of points to start 17/18 season off would have been higher than 17. In relation to the 66 points you mention, away fixtures attended were never going to have a say on home priority'.
-
Still can't quite believe that loyalty points built up over last three seasons in existing scheme count for zilch. I have 66 points on the system from last two seasons.
-
Loyalty based on just one season only and also only for home games. I'm disappointed they didn't base it on more than that. I went to a lot of home games in the great escape season and when we won the league. Far less last season, so I am screwed. I went to more away games last season than home. Get zero points for that.
-
Are there many Silver foxes who got to more than 7 games? I suspect not. Effectively what we have is a new level of tiers created at the top end made from the former Gold Foxes and a few Silvers who went to a lot of games last season. There's going to be winner and losers. I am in the latter camp unfortunately but have to accept it. I think it would have been fairer to have a points system based on the last three years and the amount of away games bought directly from the club. I'd have been ok then. I attend loads of matches in the Great Escape season and the title winning season. Last year I dropped off. Massively punished for that.
-
Really not happy about this. My loyalty points score after three years of being a Gold member is now just 17 points, which is now basically worthless. It is a joke that AWAY games, cup games and Champion's League games don't count. I really don't want to spunk £120 (to renew two memberships) up the wall to enter a ballot with God knows how many other thousands of people for a chance not even to choose where I sit and who I sit next too (should I be lucky enough to win in the ballot). That is a big departure from being able to log in at 9am and select two seats together for any home fixture. BUT if I don't renew out of principle I will not be able to attend again until the next time we get relegated! FFS! Talk about between being between a rock and a hard place.
-
Yes. It's only Prem home games. No CL, cup games, or even away matches.
-
That sounds like a load of bull to me. If the club really do frown upon that kind of behaviour they'd have done something about all those P1 STH who sell on more than they attend.
-
Champions League games don't count. Its just Prem home games. Not even away games or cup are considered; all of which would have helped me out immensely.
-
Yes. I think the decision to only take into account one season is a really poor one by the club. Surely some points for being a Gold member for three years would have been a bit fairer than basing all on last season. I attended about 18 games in the previous two seasons. Just the 2 last season. I've really shot myself in the foot there.
