Hi all, I need to raise some funds so am selling some Leicester shirts if this may be of interest to anyone. I've listed them on eBay with a .99p starting price and no reserve; including this shirt which I'm sure someone may take a shine to! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153275910032 Apologies to the mods if there is a thread for this type of thing. I couldn't find it if so. Thanks for looking!

Me too please!

Hi all, I am looking for 1 ticket for the Burnley game. Good buying history on here over the years. -

Have we ever drawn any other team more often than Man City in the cups over the years?! -
Leicester v West Ham- Pre Match Thread
An Away Move replied to dayday's topic in Leicester City Forum
I was quite close to the touchline (in the Arsenal end) when Vardy came over to Puel before he left the pitch. Something didn’t look good about the exchange. Like there was disbelief between them. Vardy’s body language if he was saying he was ill wasn’t clearly saying the same thing. The exchange between them just looked a bit weird. It wouldn’t surprise me if Puel came away from that feeling pissed off. Of course I don’t know what was said and it is possible Vardy was genuinely ill. But it did stick in my memory as being peculiar. Maybe Puel couldn’t believe what he was hearing after making his subs. -
Leicester v West Ham- Pre Match Thread

I like it. The manager is in control and not afraid to make big decisions based on form. **** whoever leaked Vardy’s anger. I hate player power. Alex Ferguson would be patting Puel on the back for this. -
Puel is doing really great work IMO. Look at the size of his task. Get Leicester to transition to a more sustainable style; against some resistance at first I'm sure from the old guard. Bring youth in and develop it. Finish higher than you did last season. Do what is needed and unsentimental by transitioning out players in the way of better players. Even if you're Andy King. This is professional sport folks. And being a model professional that he is Andy King will accept it. And, he's not exactly been made homeless people. He'll either move on to play regular football and still be paid well, or he'll stay and not play football and be paid even more. Hope he gets a testimonial though. He deserves it for his service. Even though he's only 29!

Performing badly and winning. Sign of a good team. When we click we could be very good!

Premier League Thread 2018/19 stuff it in here.

It’s looking more and more like we lost 3pts at their gaff. Maybe we gave them too much respect? -
Unfair. He was excellent for us in the Champions League Quarter Final against a superb Atlético Madrid team. I know you were probably just making a joke though ?
-
I am thankful to Drinkwater for his contribution over the years, but he really isn't all that IMO and I also think his judgement is questionable. Turning down an England call up?! wtf?! Some might say there was honour in it because he didn't feel fit enough, but Southgate hasn't picked him since. H ought to have got his arse to that camp and showed he was a trier at the very least. In his last games he was like a parody of his good season. The balls over the top for Vardy were so off target it was painful. He's a player who clearly modelled himself on Paul Scholes, with about a 20th of the talent. Sorry. I hope we don't take hime on loan. Especially after forcing his move. More bad judgement on his part, just like turning down England. He's now reaping what he sowed.
-
I only saw him play in that awful Millwall game and tbf I thought he showed nice touches and I thought at the time I'd like to see more of him in the middle feeding Vardy. I don't know what's gone wrong. None of us do.

Leonardo Ulloa - Gone to C.F. Pachuca

Others have mentioned how important his contribution was to our title winning season. That is his legacy. I’ll also remember him for his excellent performance against against Atlético Madrid. Thanks for all Leo. -
Lack luster transfer window (and no big name signings)
An Away Move replied to Evington Fosse Fox's topic in Transfer Talk
If there was a team psychologist for Foxes Talk, he/she would send this thread to train alone so its negativity wouldn’t prove contagious to the rest of the threads or terraces. Some of the negativity on here is just ridiculous and hysterical. -
I want a ruthless manager who has no time for sentiment. That’s how clubs evolve. Change is a certainty in life. If the reports are true Alex Ferguson would be nodding approvingly.
-
Quite right. Until New Labour ruined it for them!

"Ings can only get better...." To the tune of that New Labour song

You're quite right. Half of last season was dire and for a moment I wanted Puel out. In retrospect my speculation is that the players weren't exactly on board with the changes he wanted to make, or didn't buy into it. But to be fair we've been there before with our players. Maybe now they know the club is seriously backing Puel they might buy into his style of playing more. It was turgid at times, but I have a feeling it won't be like that with a full pre season under Puel's belt. I'm excited! Dangerous, I know!
-
I can’t believe what I’m reading in this thread. Pure hysteria. The most worrying thing is how many fans have anxiety and how quickly that might turn to unhelpful noises on the terraces. We’ve done great business early and are integrating youth into the team. Puel is quite correct in that you don’t replace Mahrez. You have to play differently. Also look at our direct rivals. Compare our window to Burnley, etc., Chill the funk out! I am really excited about Puel’s work over Summer and can’t wait for the start of the season.

2018/19 Fox Memberships On Sale Now!
An Away Move replied to davieG's topic in Ticket News and Travel
I have two memberships and I really couldn't afford to renew them this year as I will be a student again soon, but I had in excess of 30pts on both memberships. There is no way I can just let that level of priority turn to dust. What if we get to a cup final?! The club has me by the short and curlys now. -
Close thread. Mahrez cannot be replaced. Look forward to a new way of playing. Maddison possibly the creative heart of it.
-
That is a consolation, but my main concern is that I had no clue this was happening or any announcements about what the criteria was. Did the club only tell those who were eligible? There is no ‘news’ item on the LCFC website.
