Well done to the club. At the end of the day Man City ought to have known that £55m was not enough in the last hours of the transfer window. If they really wanted him they ought to have come in with at least £75m, which I believe he is worth in the current market. As for Riyad, as a fan this is the first time I have felt angry with him because he played hardball with our club and might well have cost us points tonight. Objectively though I suspect he will get on with it and keep performing because he has little alternative moving forward. Today’s shenanigans was all game playing under the ‘strategic’ influence of his agent no doubt. They tried to leverage with all the tools they had, but ultimately they didn’t hold the power. Mahrez is not Leicester like we the fans are. He’s a careerist at the end of the day. As we would be too in his position. I expect the team will bring him into line too.

Man City make £50million offer for Riyad Mahrez?
An Away Move replied to LCFCb0y's topic in Transfer Talk
I am taking this badly on a personal level. I asked the club at Christmas if they might have any framed signed Mahrez shirts 'at the back of the club shop'. Much to my delight they said they'd get one done for me in Jan at next signing session. He better stick around just for that IMO. -
Ulloa - To Brighton on loan (Page 8)
An Away Move replied to 420Hashish's topic in Leicester City Forum
I do understand why people would take this view, but to me anyone who contributed key moments to our title win has to be thought of as a club legend. I thought he also played really against Atlético Madrid when he came on. He can be very useful on his day. He'll also be thought of even more highly at Brighton for turning down a move to Palace too! Thanks for the memories Leo! -
I want Millwall. Punish them for knocking us out last time we played them. A hideous match day experience I want out my system.
-
Yes. Like a Heskey and Cottee partnership on steroids.

If you were Vardy would you blame him? That's a big move. He's priceless to us though, but how long as got left speed wise? He has lived an amazing dream with us though. I could see him staying and becoming a one (Prem) club man. Is the latter naive thinking?

Turgid. Have we had a shot on goal yet? I’d love it if we took this competition seriously. Here’s me dreaming of a final and we’ll do well to win this.

Erm because Liverpool can be frightening going forward? -
Liverpool 2 Leicester 1 post match thread

Some harsh posters on here. Liverpool were very good today and Leicester worked really hard. -
Only the second time we’ve lost after scoring first since 2016 according to 5Live. Both very recent though.

Fearing the worst from this match. Which means I can only be pleasantly surprised if things go different.

On FM2018 I promoted him to the First team and he's banged in some fantastic goals. Let's hope it's a good omen

The Silva countdown until playing eligibility thread

This guy deserves a relentless 14 minute chant for all he's been through. Might be cathartic for us too! Some skit on George Michael and Aretha's song? -
Is Sam Byram still any good? Could he be for us?

Thanks Donut. This is brilliant!

Foxestalk Biscuit World Cup - The Semi-Finals!
An Away Move replied to DJ Barry Hammond's topic in General Chat
That said it's basically a Bourbon biscuit v three cookies. And Bourbons are the WORST biscuit ever. The final should have been a Custard Cream v Dark Chocolate Digestive. -
Foxestalk Biscuit World Cup - The Semi-Finals!

I'm just catching up with this thread and I just cannot believe that a ****ing Hobnob got past a Fig Roll in Round 1, never mind this far! And those of you purists talking about biscuits versus cookies are bang on. This is England! -
Not very good to be honest. Two Austrian teams and three South African teams. Four games down in the Prem now. A 4:3 loss at Anfield. 3:1 win against Stoke and 0:0 against Everton in my last game. I play the above formation when I fancy a result and either 4-4-2 0r 4-4-1 on the counter against teams who i think will give me trouble. What formations do you recommend?

Here's my squad. I haven't searched the forum for top players and wonder kids. Trying to just use my scouts this time. Possibly a bad idea?
-
Just bought the game. I always play as Leicester. I came in and cleared out a lot of the backroom staff. I also forced Matty James, Ulloa, Musa, Amartey and King out of the club. The squad are hurting over the latter especially, but luckily Morgan has given me the benefit of the doubt and stopped an out and out mutiny in terms of squad dynamics. So far so good. I won all the pre-season games handsomely and just beat Brighton 3:1 at home in the first game. In past game incarnations I have always cheated by taking over Man City and buying Leicester's worst youth players for ridiculous sums of money. This time I am going legit and seeing how far I get.

Yes! Entered the ballot for this and was successful. 1 ballot entered. 1 ballot won. Beginners luck. -

I can be too conservative for my liking sometimes. What a a result that was. Anyone else getting a bit excited about this team with this manager? -
I think Puel would love nothing more than to put on a bit of a swaggering performance against these after all the stick he's taken from their fans. I think that's exactly what we're going to get. 1-3 Leicester!

My favourite chant since my first game as a child at Filbert Street. I still love it. It's so ****ing medieval and primal.
