  1. This! I'm in.
  2. This happened to me the other day. McDonalds drive through was closed (I didn't realise at the time). Meaning more people going inside, more parked cars etc. So cars were parked where you'd usually queue to make your order at the loudspeaker. So i'm sat there, further back than usual, waiting. Some lads, about 20 (I'm 24) are sat there in the window laughing a little. I'd just got a new, but not brand new BMW 3 Series Coupe Msport, and was with my girlfriend, so I assumed that they were looking at one of these two, how wrong was I! Being with my girlfriend, i'm there chuntering away things like 'wtf are you looking' and calling them all of the names under the sun, making eye contact quite a few times. Before it dawns on me that they'd realised I was queueing, behind 4 parked cars! Embarrassed, I drove off, as if I'd known I was parked up all along. What a d***head!
  3. He who dares.... and all that.
  4. Sorry if this sounds lazy, but would it be possible for you to just post the selections for each bet a few hours before. I'm having a mare flicking between the WillHill and Sky Sports apps to see who's top, when they're playing, etc. Or just a a screenshot/photo of your slip? Cheers
  5. Been looking at this. A few quids going to be going on the FGS, LGS, anytime, scorecasts and a win cast. I can just see it now though, £20 down the shitter when Utd score after about 5 mins. Saturday ruined so early! Kram On You Blues!!!!!
  6. Just checked my WillHill account from the weekend, to see that Liverpool had let me down on an 11fold. Absolutely gutted.
  7. Apologies for the late reply. Yeah it's an automatic, and until I read your post, I didn't even think to check. It has a setting called DTC (dynamic traction control), which apparently improves winter driving. I always thought that setting was just for a more 'sporty' drive.
  8. Slightly off topic, but Messi, CR, James, Bale, Robben etc would be scoring better goals that the woman's one all season long against opposition like that. It took skill, obviously, but still... Anyway what odds did you get on James goal?
  9. It was a nightmare, nowhere had been gritted, not even the motorways. Managed to be safe enough, it took me about an hour to travel an 8 mile round trip.
  10. A fair bit is settling up in Leeds. It's my first winter with a rear wheel drive... and possibly the last! Wish me luck.
  11. Regardless of negligence, whether you dislike the McCanns or even think they're guilty, there's still a missing young girl.
  12. Yeah, I just fancied them at such long odds. Don't get me wrong, I had about 10 losing bets too (scorecasts that didn't come in etc), but since last week I was about £270 up so I thought I'd lay out about £30/40 quid and it paid off, upto about £500, from a tenner in just over a week. Not bad, I never usually win. I suppose when you have a bit of 'free cash' from a win, it makes it easier to build it up as you can just lump on shorter odds and cash out, then just repeat.
  13. Had: Everton to win Everton to win both halves Lukaku 2-0 Scorecast Everton 2-0 Inter, Kiev, Everon treble Was let down on a 7fold by St Etienne, and a 4fold by Napoli, and there was a few other bets that came nowhere near.
  14. Email one of the clubs for confirmation, or the association the game was played under.
  15. Had £120 on Real, Atletico and Juve. Was due around £290 but bottled it and cashed out for £205 after about 75mins. Still on the same tenner I started with last Tuesday. Just lumping the majority of any winnings on a good looking double or treble and cashing out at any significant profit. Not sure if my luck or my nerve will go first!
  16. Yeah, tell me about it! I thought Italy were going to let me down. I imagine you thought the same about them and France.
  17. Nice to have a win for a change! Anyone else do any good? Steady win there Stan, great to see.
  18. Just had a tenner on Brazil, Italy and England. It returns about £45 on WillHill. Should it win, I'm going to put the winnings on a single every night, on a 'safeish' football bet. Hopefully I can ride my luck and build up a little bit of cash! No doubt at about 10pm tonight my account will be on £0!
  19. Yeah, I'd imagined they did, however to me it just doesn't seem much as much of a deterant as police prosecution would. I agree, I can't say how they were driving but obviously they should have kept a safe distance. Easier said than done when someone is trying to manufacture a collision, I suppose.
  20. This has recently happened to two people I know. Both times, a group of eastern European men have got out with a case of severe whiplash. The police keep saying they're clamping down on this type of insurance fraud, people manufacturing their own crashes essentially, yet on both occasions refused to get involved citing that it is a matter for the insurance companies. Both times, the men have got out aggressively, surrounding the car of the other person. Luckily, one friend was a 6ft7 kick boxer, and the occasion other it was 2 lads who didn't really feel intimidated. If it was a woman alone with a child or someone not as confident, I can see how It would be a pretty scary and intimating ordeal.
  21. Bored at work, so I had a couple of Horse Racing accas! Bet 1: £5 EW. 2 winners, one lost. Bet 2: £5 EW. 2 Winners, 1 place and one lost. To make it even more sickening, it lost by less than a length and was leading in the final furlongs. Came 3rd with only 2 placing!
  22. I didn't realise Hong Kong was now classes as a nation.
  23. I was working at Scampton (home of the Red Arrows), and it's quite amazing what those guys can do in such a tight formation! On the way back from a tour last year, we got a Typhoon escort out of the patrolled airspace, that was a sight and a half, I just looked out of the window and a Eurofighter was basically on the end of the wing.
  24. Well obviously I don't! Although if you wasn't able to walk, I'd guess (possibly incorrectly), that you might bear in mind a tad more, and understand that not every child on the school buses are able to walk! Not only does this support the need for the school buses, but also the more frequent stops! Also, walking was just an one of the suggestions, if you're not able then you'd obviously have to drive, and sit in traffic. Should there be a 'disabled lane' for people who are forced to drive because they aren't able to walk? I think not!
  25. So to make sure you aren't at an inconvenience, you're agaisnt free transport for school children, some of whom may have no other means of travel to school! Also, would you rather there be 1000s more cars on the roads opposed to these buses? Either, try not to travel at these times, walk the 2 miles which you imply is such a small distance to avoid the traffic... or simply just understand that other people need to use the roads during rush hour and the school run times, and stop complaining.
