  1. Well I doubt the Russian billionaires will be worried about giving Defoe £65k a week for 3 years.
  2. Yeah because he's royally ****ed Bournemouth's finances up so far hasn't he... Anyway, he'll be indentifying targets and possibly having a discussion with them regarding his vision for the club. That's as far as his role in the transfers will go.
  3. You can't argue with idiots, well not successfully anyway. I'd guess anyone who was present who's opinion is of value to you would have realised who was wrong and most like embarrassed themselves. Not that they'd have been embarrassed due to their own ignorance.
  4. As the payments are equal and they were relegated in the same year, I'd hazard a guess at parachute payments (most likely in a different model to today's) paid to them by the PL.
  5. The Mirror referring to us as 'The Tigers'... http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/leicester-star-jamie-vardy-puts-10464994
  6. I remember travelling down to Leicester as much as I could (with my old man) to get to games. Made a fair few to say I was only young, maybe 7 or 8 home games a season. I can remember so much, unfortunately most of it is very vague... apart from the song, Republica - Ready To Go! That song takes me back to Filbert Street. The place I fell in love with Leicester City.
  7. Granted he's taller than Kante, but did Kante ever miss a header?
  8. I was born and bred in Leeds, but as my old man was from Leicester and a lifelong fan, LCFC is all I've ever known. All of my childhood, my family tried to turn me to Leeds, they were a huge club at that time too. I would be asked at school, 'how come you support Leicester when you're from Leeds?' For years it was an unfashionable choice, and the constant stick I got just made me love Leicester more and hate Leeds. On your point about changing teams and not supporting your local team... what do you expect people who grow up not supporting their local team? Stop being so self richeous and closed minded. Be happy that the foxes all over the world are enjoying this season just as much as you!
  9. Probably one of the worst things I've ever watched. Embarrassing.
  10. Juan Mata with some nice words about us on SSN this morning. Talking from the Spanish training camp, he was saying he thinks we've got the ability to keep our form up and win the league.
  11. Accrington Stanley just let my 800/1 11-fold down for £4000. After being 2-0 up. Never got a decent cash out offer as I had quite a few late winners go in. Gutted!!!
  12. QPR, Atl.Bilbao, Espanyol, Villarreal, Marseilles. £10 pays £860
  13. From the start, Liverpool aside it felt like a good bet. Then it all just started rolling in, then Deportivo(?) went down to ten men and the cash out dropped by 60%. After I'd cashed out most of the teams who were 1up scored again. The massive potential win blinds me usually, but £690 is massive, so I suppose I should be happy. Like you say, other days you win £30 and you're chuffed.
  14. Had an 8 fold tonight, Madrid Valencia Betis Deportivo Sevilla Celta Vigo Porto Liverpool (at 1-0 down) £5 paid £1780 Cashed out at £690 as soon as all the teams were up, at 75mins. It would have paid out if I'd let it run, but near enough £700 is too much to mess about with. Mixed emotions
  15. Just the name Ross McCormack flags up how much that price tag is wide of the mark.
  16. Got on this. Does it run into extra time or is it just for the 90?
  17. People saying England lack passion because they don't run around like Wales, or any other team of similar quality is a bit of flawed argument. England don't play that style of football. Teams sit back against us, especially against lower quality opponents in the qualifiers. I'm not saying that England don't lack passion, but style of football isn't an argument for or against it. If England came up against France or Germany, I think you'd see a more dynamic performance. However, maybe not. On another note, I love to see the Welsh, N.Irish and Rep Ireland do well, however I can't stand to see Scotland do well. They love to see us fail and are so bitter about us I just can't bring myself to see them do well.
  18. When people don't indicate to leave, giving you a chance to get on a busy roundabout. Infuriating!
  19. I'd argue that we've been immunised against the dreaded Second Season Syndrome, because we've changed manager, which obviously has massive changes on the players, style of play and how the club goes about its business off of the field.Although I do think we'd have stayed up with Nige at the helm.
  20. At any age!Edit: it would be worse if they were adults, much worse in my opinion.
  21. Is there any incentives to doing well in the MLS, other than winning a trophy? Is there a serious equivalent of the CL? Relegation? Or is it just a 'show' for the fans to enjoy and the franchises to make money from? I'm being quite ignorant here, I just can't see how there's anything to play for. I'm not being negative about the MLS, I'm just wondering what all the fuss is about.
  22. Oh right, nice one, cheers Webbo!
  23. Just been on the AliExpress website, obviously these are fakes, but on the pictures I can't see any brands on the shirt. Are they on them? Is that where most of you are ordering from?
  24. Who's the bloke in the American Football gear? 'Mr Sunglasses/Mr Hat'
  25. 90% offers of shaft shots! Get a few 14 year old girls, and I had one 22 year old from Norwich! It's the most pointless app you could ever download, unless you strike gold! Which is unlikely but it can happen. Then when you do you need to make conversation worth replying to, because the whole population of the app wants sexchat and to swap nudes!
