Some nice passes in there too, but yeah, it's not his main strength. If I have the choice of a ball-playing CB who can't defend or a pure CB who's great at defending but no good on the ball, I'd choose the latter every time. Incidentally, the former could describe Wout Faes, but he was immense today, to give credit where credit's due.

I’m loving Okoli so far, he looks like a class act. Big, strong and brave - everything you want from your CB.

Yeah, it should be, but unfortunately, until something is done about clubs poaching youngsters before they sign their first pro contract, it reduces the incentive to produce top talent. The compensation scheme is a joke. We’ve been robbed of top talent in Trey Nyoni to Liverpool, and I can see the same thing happening with Jeremy Monga to another club. How clubs are expected to be sustainable when this type of thing goes on is beyond me.

I understand that and wouldn’t have any complaints if the on-field decision was a goal, but the fact that there is no decent view of it and they still overruled it really grates on me.

The angle they used to determine it was offside is so unclear. Whatever system they currently use to determine offsides needs to be replaced. It's beyond a joke. There's a few Twitter accounts claiming the decision was incorrect and that the goal should have stood. I'm fully expecting a PGMOL apology any minute now.

I would have gladly taken a draw at the start, but after how the game unfolded, I'm gutted we didn’t come away with the win. Costly individual errors from Coady and Winks killed us. That said, there are still positives. The players seem to be putting in a solid shift for the manager. Another Jamie Vardy goal to add to the total is always a bonus as well.
