Us and Leeds had stronger squads then his saints team. And why would back RvN to gain promotion next season ? He’s clueless has no identity or style of play! RM will have one of the best squads in the division and his style of football recently in this league has won promotion.

I agree with you but it’s going to be RM isn’t it! Let’s hope he’s learnt his lesson from Southampton. He’s had plenty of time to think and prepare himself for his next job. Also let’s get promoted first then worry about leading us into the prem.

RM coming in isn’t as bad as most are expecting! MartinBall dominates the championship with the players he will have at his disposal. Very likeable guy and players seem to really like him as well. comes across very well in the media and he has a massive point to prove. i think the recruitment will be decent with him as well.

I agree that Rohl has behaved badly especially with the hints and interviews! If he came to us we would all love it joke and laugh about it but a leopard doesn’t change their spots and soon as a bigger club comes in for him he would do the exact same thing to us. But yeah agree I’d take Rohl 😂😂😂

A lot of the saints fans still really like him from what I’ve seen in X, think this bad news that he could be coming to us. He’s exactly what they need. A manager who galvanises a dressing room and protects players - exactly what they need when the rest of the club is in chaos. Don’t get me wrong I’d rather have Still, Rohl and a few others on there that have been mentioned but reality is our owner loves tippy tappy possession based football and RM is the best available at it and especially for the championship with the players we already have! i personally think it will work seems a good bloke come across well in the media and will have a point to prove! I agree on majority of what you’ve said tbf but in the championship next season I think he will be useful. Definitely agree on the winger part though start of the las season when he scored away at Southampton he bombed it through the middle, maybe high 8 or like the other lad said playing off a striker big lad decent speed and he’s got the grit and determination. Be nice option for next season imo.

I’ve slagged him off in the past and was annoyed we didn’t accept the bid from Sunderland but the last few games he’s impressed me and think he could be a vital player next season in the championship!
