  1. Thinking of getting tickets to the Morningside Arena. Heard the previous games were a decent atmosphere. I watched the last final at home but this time i want to be out the house just incase we actually do win it
  2. Gave up on Monster Hunter Rise within 15 minutes. I think the game is meant for people who are already familiar with the game. I quite simply did not know what i was doing and quickly realised i couldn't be bothered to learn it. So i downloaded Animal Well, I had heard good things about it. Its a really good puzzle game with a Metroid feel to it. Enjoying it as you aren't directed in which path to take so it takes a lot of thought when you pick up an item to retrace your steps and think where to use said item.
  3. Awesome, so glad i didnt bother buying it now. One game im waiting for is Sonic Frontiers, always had a soft spot for sonic but i imagine it wont be long until its available. Also wonder if Hogwarts would ever come to PS Premium
  4. Yes it was the remastered version. I just know its the type of game that i would never get into. im quite simply just not interested in difficult games. Give me a game with an amazing story that i can just enjoy on easy mode and im happy haha
  5. So Elden Ring is a game i have not played yet. Reason being is that it just looks like another Dark Souls game. My cousin tried to get me into Dark Souls and i despised it. Where is the enjoyment in a game where all you do is press the dodge button a million times before hitting an enemy with 1 stab and if you get hit you die and try again. I remember playing Dark Souls, FINALLY beating the first boss after a bazillion tries before walking through a door just to find the next unbearable boring boss where you die another kajillion times. But i hear that Elden Ring isnt as bad as Dark Souls. Can you guys tell me if i would enjoy Elden Ring? As i do love a huge RPG
  6. Just downloaded Monster Hunter Rise. Never played a monster hunter game but looks like something I can get into. Also blasting Metroid on the GBA on the switch just as a quick pick up and play
  7. Finished my first play through. Couldnt put it down. Really enjoyed it.
  8. Good thing for me is i have nothing to compare it to, so ive not really had any issues with the controller. Still loving the game and dont want it to end
  9. Outside of battle You have 2 options when it comes to movement. Turnbased so your controller acts like a mouse so you click somewhere and your character will head to where you clicked. Or you can control the character directly. In battle it's turn based only, you press R1 to bring up a wheel which has all the available spells, potions, commands etc. I very rarely use mouse and keyboard so I can't really comment on whether the game works on controller. I've found it quite easy to use
  10. Im also in the camp of wanting physical copies so i could trade it in but its Β£58 on PS5 so i thought i would finally treat myself. Ill say one thing, if i paid Β£70 for it it wouldnt bother me in the slightest, it really is a good game, i can already tell there is so much replay value
  11. This game has taken over my life. I am now into Act 3 and about to enter Baldur's Gate. Never realised how complex D&D is. Big respect for people who are into it, so much to think about. I wont go into too much detail about how im doing, Lets just say it wont be long until tentacles are growing out of my face Astarion is the best character, makes me howl
  12. Make sure you download the Godzilla DLC. Quite good. I got the platinum trophy, well worth while doing. I really enjoyed it. Upgrade your weight capacity asap. And don't return to your boat without a full bounty.
  13. That's great, some really good info thanks. So ive just killed the goblin leaders, the final one was brilliant, he was stood next to a hole so i shoved him, he fell into a room with 2 big spiders. He wasted turns attacking the spiders (allowing me to pick off the minions) then he was stuck and i easily picked him off with range attacks with the high ground. as you say once i got to level 4 and unlocked some additional stuff ive found the fighting a bit more bearable. I was wasting time trying to take out a high HP enemy, now i pick off all the little guys just to reduce the numbers. I need to spend some time studying my companions, ive kind of just upgraded whatever and not really selected spells properly. Just going with random things. Also i have misplaced Gale's clothes so he is in camp with a pair of pants on
  14. Not anything specific, just any little thing that i should prioritise, or things to help me in battle. Ive played a few hours now, I am starting to get my bearings but i have no idea on say what classes work well, are there any good classes that work well together? Any spells of things you would recommend i focus on? Ive got 1 character dead, how easy is it to revive people? I have ran out of scrolls so i dont know what other ways there are to revive people.
  15. Cant believe nobody has noticed we play Liverpool and Man City over Xmas again
  16. Decided to buy this as I was intrigued when it won GOTY. I have never played Baldurs Gate, or any type of D&D game so I am very much a newbie. So far I am just wandering around having no clue what I am doing, I watched a beginners guide on YouTube to give me a headstart but my god there is so much to learn. Finding myself struggling to keep people alive. So any items of wisdom people would share would be greatly appreciated

What a great game
  18. Ive finished it, really enjoyed it. Its nice to play a game that's just story driven. No messing around with guns and ammo etc. Ive decided to give Celeste a try. Heard good things about it.
  19. So after finishing Dave the Diver i have moved onto 'Deliver us Mars'. Been looking forward to playing this as i enjoyed 'Deliver us the Moon' Its a short game, only 8 hours according to the internet, im probably already halfway through it. Good story, looking forward to seeing how it ends
  20. Dave the Diver. 37 hours to platinum. Great game, made me laugh plenty of times. Highly recommend All i will say is 'Hot Pepper Tuna'
  21. Ive ordered mine, not happy to pay Β£25 but so be it
  22. Dave the Diver, cant put it down. It reminds me a little of Returnal, where its 'just one more go' How can running a sushi restaurant be so addictive. Im enjoying the exploration, the different tasks to do and the story keeps progressing nicely, where you can hold fire on it and do some other tasks to earn more money before continuing. There is no real pressure to make progress. The difficulty is finely balanced as you dive deeper and i like that you dont really have a 'health bar' as such, you just lose oxygen if you get hit. So you have to make decisions whether to engage or not. Upgrading is really good also as you have tough decisions on what to upgrade first. Im loving it, a well thought out game and something you can sink hours into
  23. Gutted I missed this
  24. Dave the Diver. How is this game so good πŸ˜†
