Would’ve liked to see have seen this Lions side against NZ. I think out of all the southern hemisphere sides, Australia are the weakest of the three.

On the whole Van Beek has been ok. Started off really well but then seemed to get a bit more expensive with the ball and less runs with the bat as the campaign went on. Overall really disappointed with Masood as well. Was chuffed when we signed him but he had about 2 good games for us.

Disappointing to lose and again, a game we ultimately should never have lost. 20 Runs short with the bat again and loose bowling when they thought they had the game wrapped up. Luckily for us it’s turned out to be a dead rubber but really we could and should’ve easily qualified. There were only 3 games in the whole group that we weren’t in. We should have never lost against Notts, Worcester and tonight. Those 3 wins see us through. Enjoyed the campaign still - looking forward to the 50 over now.

That’s the problem half of which I alluded to earlier. Continually blowing smoke up their arse off the back of a tournament they won on home turf. Somewhat of a desperation to want to kind of shove it in the men’s teams face as well (which is a big problem of getting some sort of alignment or more men to watch) I want them to go all the way but should the now inevitable happen there’s going to be so many comments from blokes all over the country similar to what Lioness’ fans were throwing about when they won their Euro’s and these feminists aren’t going to like it.
