It always astounds me how feverish-like people are to crap on the achievements of people when they die. Cast member of stupendously popular TV show passes away? "I MUST express how much I didn't find it funny, and the best place to do that is in a thread about someone who has died. Yes, let's make this about ME." Also staggering that people cannot process that comedy is subjective and your disdain/dislike of something is not the be all and end all. I grew up with Friends, I really liked Friends, I don't watch it back much now but it resonates with me a lot and it was part of my growing up so remember it fondly. If nothing else it's always a shock when people who you spent a lot of time watching on TV as a kid pass away.

KPFC How about just not having memberships as a barrier to get into the ground? I'm saying the whole membership premise is a pile of shit, not that my sister should've gotten some form of exception.

It's absolutely ridiculous trying to control what people can watch in 2023. I'll never tire of expressing my ire against it and how pointless it is. End it and give us a freedom of choice.

And shame on them for potentially enabling another five years of conservative rule on that basis, too. This country needs change. It desperately needs a change of government to try and freshen everything up. Political discourse, morale, finances, public services. The fact we will have to wait nearly a year for it to happen is the biggest issue tbh.

Feels like everyone drinks the KPFC kool-aid in one way or another - for some it's memberships. My sister and her partner as v causal fans, they rocked up to the window on gameday for Stoke wanting two tickets. "got a membership?" they were asked. Ofc they don't. So to get two tickets to the game on a walk-up they'd have had to drop nigh on £140 combined in order to get in, so they could get a membership and two expensive tickets. Naturally they walked away. If people can't see what's wrong with that then pick up that bottle and keep drinking from it.
