  1. Would love to see Wilf, but also don't want any aggravation of his previous injury. Just get another goal and make it all moot.
  2. The ref's name is SUNNY SINGH GILL, per https://www.efl.com/news/2024/february/26/referee-appointments--1-6-march/.
  3. I am receiving the video on a Windows computer, then sending the output via HDMI to a wall-mounted TV screen. Chrome browser is the video player.
  4. Regarding FoxesHub: I am actually getting really good video quality, all the way to the US. Audio is muted as I am in a work meeting (Q&A section meeting).
  5. Was just going to say this. Go back a year, I would never have imagined making that statement, except as sarcasm.
  6. Would have liked to see Marc on the sheet, but otherwise I like that lineup!
  7. Leicester's match week 35 is complete. Three league losses on the trot is not ideal. Status: 78 of 93 points required for automatic promotion. Current points rate is 2.23/match. 1.36 points/match required for the rest of the season (15 points from 11 matches). We have a 5-point gap over third place (Leeds). We have 83.9% of the required points for automatic promotion after 76.1% of the season.
  8. Allowed two QPR goals on what I believe were the first two QPR shots. Missed Jannik today. Showed some good intensity in the second half, but we haven't found a way to prise open a deep and determined defense. Gap to third down to five points. Didn't really see any performances that deserved plaudits. Some decent play, but it wasn't good enough overall.
  9. Applying some decent pressure the last few minutes. Unfortunately, QPR are playing some really good defense in their box. It does help to have ten players behind the ball...
  10. Log out and back in. That often works.
  11. As was so well said by @weller54 in the pre-match thread:
  12. 5:45 am k/o for me. Oh, I'll be present and accounted for in front of the telly, but I won't be happy about it.
  13. I'm not a football conspiracy theorist. Also, I can't imagine that anyone who would be able to rig cup draws would be sufficiently interested in Leicester City to do so. Just a bit of an odd run going against the randomness.
  14. I've done exactly zero research, but it does seem we 'randomly' get drawn into a lot of away cup ties.
  15. 'Playing at a lower level' is quite valid. Not going into details, but there have been a few squads this season who have shown very little ambition, or even basic football skill. And it all turns into a (positive) cycle. Play well (against lesser opposition), get picked regularly by the manager, boost of confidence, play well, round and round it goes.
  16. Been thinking about the genesis of Jannik's career revival this season. I am wondering if he (1) just plays massively better when he is picked consistently, or (2) plays massively better when he has the manager's confidence? Or perhaps a combo of both? Either way, I wish to apologize for calling him Lurch the last few years.
  17. According to what I just read, yes there will be 30 minutes extra time if needed, plus penalties after that if necessary.
  18. It was going well until the final 15 minutes or so. Damn shame we let in the late goals, but that is so typically Leicester. Missed too many really good chances -- and you just bloody knew what was going to happen. And it kept going downhill once Leeds scored their first. Players of note for me were Faes, Vestergaard, Ricardo, Winks, KDH, Daka, and Mavadidi.
  19. Leicester's match week 33 is complete. 1-0-1 in the last two matches. Status: 78 of 93 points required for automatic promotion. Current points rate is 2.36/match. 1.15 points/match required for the rest of the season (15 points from 13 matches). We have a 11-point gap over third place (Southampton, who have a game in hand). We have 83.9% of the required points for automatic promotion after 71.7% of the season.
  20. Bump in the road. The entire squad seemed oddly out of sorts today. Boro counterattacked very well and took full advantage of their first-half chances. Meanwhile we missed two fabulous headed chances in that same half. Vardy pulled a goal back late, but the comeback was not to be. Still top of the league, still have a significant gap to third place. On we go.
  21. Nice to have Chris Kavanagh as an extra defender!
  22. I hope Mavididi isn't injured. If he isn't, seems an odd substitution.
  23. Unfortunately, that is always a possibility when playing the very high defensive line. One of our defenders fell down, Vesty couldn't catch up, which led to the 3 on 1 (keeper).
  24. Two fabulous headed chances thus far, just need to get them on target. Goals are coming...
