Van Nistelrooy also has a decent history of falling out with people, I still think it was probably him making it bigger than it was He also fell out with Buonanotte over boots ffs

Why does there need to be a suggestion something was wrong with his wife? We do not deserve to and have no right to know about it

I do agree with regards to his footwork and passing ability, it is very well below the level of Mads and I think we will have a lot more occassions this season of it playing us into trouble However I do think he is just as good a shotstopper, and is actually an improvement on commanding his areas from corners and crosses

If we have relented I just hope it isn't too much From that really good West Ham source it sounded like there was still a pretty big gap in the difference
-
I would think (hope) that the pretty good money for Wilf would hopefully mean we aren't quite as desperate for money in and can hold firm in what we want for Mads

https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/inside-king-power-captaincy-call-10400736 Boss to consult on captain Manager Marti Cifuentes and his City squad will jointly decide the club’s new captain this week as they name a successor to Jamie Vardy. City need a new skipper after the club icon’s summer departure, and Cifuentes said he will consult the squad to ensure the right man gets the armband. Conor Coady had been captain in pre-season before his switch to Wrexham, while Ricardo Pereira and Hamza Choudhury have also started summer friendlies as skipper, the latter doing so for the win over Fiorentina at the weekend. Ricardo and Choudhury appear to be the standout contenders. They both wore the armband during promotion two seasons ago, while they are two of the three longest-serving City players, with only linked-away Wilfred Ndidi in the first team for a longer period of time. Harry Winks and Ben Nelson have also worn the armband in pre-season and so may be in the running. Asked if he’d decided on City’s captain, Cifuentes said on Sunday: “Not yet. Today was more based on that he (Choudhury) has been here for a long time. He’s one of the important players in the changing room. “I’m going to take a decision together with the players during the week and then you’ll get news about that. I’m happy wherever we will be. I’m sure we’re going to have fantastic profiles in the team.”

Latest from @ExWHUEmployee on GK's: The Victor John deal is very close to being agreed. The transfer terms are almost there and it’s just how the fee will be paid – in terms of break down of instalments. The personal terms are said to be close as well. HOWEVER It is thought that then recruitment team want us to try one more time to try and get a deal with Leicester for Mada Hermansen even though the offer we made and what Leicester want were quite far apart. Another interesting twist is that the top source wouldn’t confirm today that Victor John was on his way. When asked whether it was true that the Brazilian keeper was a "Done Deal", the top source replied "I can’t comment on what may or may not happen. We are trying on all fronts!" We have also heard from another source that talks have infact continued with Leicester and that there has been positive progress with the deal so there could be another twist of events. There are also a couple of other keeper targets that could be explored too.

Really looking forward to watching this

Toney was also 2 years older than Kone and had been playing actual league football for 5+ years
-
Kelman has been sold to Charlton for £3.5m rising to £5m - price for Kone is meant to be around £5m Kone scored every 153 mins Kelman scored every 162 mins Kelman is also nearly 2 years older than Kone

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11096/13407245/reporter-notebook-leicesters-big-test-as-season-of-uncertainty-awaits-foxes-in-championship Look at the £2m they got for 32-year-old Conor Coady, who only had one year left on his contract, from Wrexham. Coady thought he would be allowed to walk away for free, with Leicester saving his not-inconsiderable wages, but Leicester dug their heels in and said no to a free transfer to Rangers.

Upward of £9m, we have done really well on this deal Seeing as it is going to be pretty much all profit as well it might mean we can keep one of Mads / Bilal
-
A real shame for Stolarczyk if Mads does end up staying Wouldn’t blame him if he wanted to go, even just on loan Would be better for his development as well

That is about what Swansea have had turned down

Needs pace to be able to press properly though

It was stopped in 2023 But JJ, Ndidi, Ricardo etc. signed new contracts before they stopped it

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
moore_94 replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
Ended up cracking on with the story and have just rolled credits after about 60 hours So glad I finally decided to give this game a proper go, it is so good and although I kind of saw it coming I did really like the story all coming together at the end Really tempted to just jump straight into DS2 but I think it is best if I play one or two other games first -
Up until 2023 whenever a player signed a new contract whatever value was still on them was then spread out across the length of the new contract JJ has about £800k on him

Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)
moore_94 replied to CloudFox's topic in Transfer Talk
Hopefully he is currently 4th choice centre back now Then that hopefully means he pushes hard to leave, especially if his Belgium place is put at risk from it -
He was genuinely world class at what he did for a few seasons That midfield trio of Wilf, Youri, and Madders was perfect But with the injury issues, likely high wages, and our need for players to leave it is definitely time for him to move on Just over £8m for him is pretty good as well
