No Monga tomorrow then And none of the young right backs being given a go either with all 3 playing! -
Tomorrow night after we lose to QPR
-
Plays both left back and right back so gone for 1 very cheap option as competition for both positions I expect
-
Okoli Wouldn’t be surprised if we see him gone the other way soon, on loan at least
-
Club radio silence creates a vacuum and toxicity

Hopefully the game still goes ahead tonight (so we can get an idea if anyone will be involved tomorrow) Seen a few under 21 games have been postponed already due to frozen pitches -
From Ruud’s press conference: PSR? “It was a topic in the conversations before I signed. We’re clear on that. There’s no news on that. I’m focused on getting the right players in and winning.” Club confident on PSR? “I think it’s for the club to comment, but the conversations I had were clear and open. We’re on that page and that process. Nothing has changed.”
-
Well at least it still sounds like Ruud is expecting some signings… Close to signings? “We’re in the middle of the process. It’s clear where we want to strengthen. We’re working on that day and night. I feel a strong responsibility to get the right players in. It’s a delicate process. It takes time. It requires a lot of effort and work to bring in the right players.” What do you want in window? “We’ve been creating a style of play and players who fit into that are the profiles who can get us to better results. Those are the profiles we have been talking about with recruitment and the people responsible for signing these players. It started in December and hopefully we can present something soon.”

Ruud Van Nistelrooy Pre-Match Press Conference vs QPR Hermansen and Vestergaard? “On Mads, there’s no update. He’ll be out for a bit longer. That won’t change over the coming weeks. Jannik has been assessed and he’s made his steps. We’re looking to get him on the pitch today or tomorrow, but it’s doubtful for QPR.” Any other injuries? “No. McAteer is back in full team training and if he can continue that, he will be available for the game.” Close to signings? “We’re in the middle of the process. It’s clear where we want to strengthen. We’re working on that day and night. I feel a strong responsibility to get the right players in. It’s a delicate process. It takes time. It requires a lot of effort and work to bring in the right players.” What do you want in window? “We’ve been creating a style of play and players who fit into that are the profiles who can get us to better results. Those are the profiles we have been talking about with recruitment and the people responsible for signing these players. It started in December and hopefully we can present something soon.” How important are transfers? “It’s important because of the situation we’re in. It demands we have to do better. It’s development of the current players and if there are players who fit in the picture, and can make the club better in the long term, then we have to do it.” PSR? “It was a topic in the conversations before I signed. We’re clear on that. There’s no news on that. I’m focused on getting the right players in and winning.” Club confident on PSR? “I think it’s for the club to comment, but the conversations I had were clear and open. We’re on that page and that process. Nothing has changed.” FA Cup? “I love the competition. It’s the oldest cup tournament in the world and the most famous one. It’s important to enjoy these games.” Selection? “We’ll address the squad over the coming days. It’s important to keep our development going. We want to break the current run of defeats. We want to play well and gain confidence. Those are things I’m thinking about and then I’ll make decisions about selection.” Magic of the cup? “I’m a proud winner of the FA Cup as a player. I was able to play in two finals. I know how much it meant to me to win it with United. Now there’s no replays, but it’s a fantastic tournament to be a part in.” Take it seriously? “It’s important to take it seriously. We plan to win every game. But we have to look at the condensed schedule. The Premier League games for this club are vital.” QPR? “At the moment of the draw, they were second or third bottom. The current form has been very good, they’ve collected a lot of points. For us it’s a great example of how things can turn. That’s why we’re aware we’re facing a confident side who are keen to do well in this tournament.” -

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/01/09/leicester-face-points-deduction-possible-spending-breach/ Even if relegation is avoided this season, Leicester will return to the model of selling one key player every summer to assist with PSR compliance. Mads Hermansen, the Danish goalkeeper, has emerged as the most likely sale after impressing in the Premier League this season. Rival clubs have been made aware of his potential availability and in the recent 2-2 draw with Brighton, Hermansen was watched by Manchester United’s chief goalkeeping scout, Tony Coton.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/01/09/leicester-face-points-deduction-possible-spending-breach/ Leicester are not expected to spend large sums of money in the January transfer window. They are keen to end Crystal Palace forward Odsonne Édouard’s loan deal prematurely and the priority signings at this stage are cheap full-backs.

Doesn’t really say anything different to what we already know https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/01/09/leicester-face-points-deduction-possible-spending-breach/ To be clear, Dewsbury-Hall’s sale to Chelsea was officially announced on July 2 but completed in time to be included in the 2023-24 accounts.

Give him a chance at least off the bench on Saturday Ruud
-
Bilal on the left, KDH in the middle, Facundo on the right I actually think both Bilal and Facundo have had their best games for us so far when starting wide I don’t think it will happen anyway, I would be happy if it did though - as long as it wasn’t at the expense of us getting someone for the more urgent positions
-
Realistic right backs we could sign in January

Loan
-
Leuven want to keep him until the summer and no actual offer received from Monaco
-
They have their own Director of Football who would be dealing with it, not Rudkin
-
Do we need one as desperately as we need a right back, centre back, winger, or striker I don’t believe we do Wilf isn’t out long term either and should be back soon
-
I am sure everyone would be thrilled with us signing a 6th defensive mid when we have much more pressing concerns in other positions at the moment Monaco haven’t even bid for him, so we haven’t missed out on anything
-
Although the player has been well observed by Monaco scouts this season, Oud Heverlee Louvain has not received any written offer from #ASMonaco so far for Ezechiel Banzuzi.
