Whenever you play Man Utd, home or away, you come up against a team with talented players and you have to be mindful of that. We’re looking forward to going there again. We’re disappointed we only got a draw at Ipswich and we want to get back on the winning trail. We’ve had a really good week of training.” Glad you're not facing Amorim? “You always deal with whatever’s in front of you. It’s been of interest around the world about what’s happening at United. The same as the first game, it’s about us focusing on ourselves. If we want to succeed in any game, it’s on us. The ambition is to be higher. I’m always going to say I want more. That’s the elite environment of the Premier League. We’ve got to think big and make it happen.” Striving for 90-min performance? “Yes, but I don’t think we’ll be sitting on our own. There will be spells where the opponents will be on top. At Ipswich, we started and finished well but there were parts in the middle where we could have been better. You’re always striving for a 90-minute performance, but it’s easier said than done.” Ayew? “We knew we needed to bring in, as well as young players for the future, the experience. I was asked about the composure Jordan and Vards showed and that was built on experience. We’re delighted with Jordan because he can deliver and he knows what it takes. He’s very much about the team and the greater good. It can’t be about individuals. The more time he’s here, the more that will grow. Some important moments so far and there will be more to come.” Injuries? “Bobby missed Ipswich and still hasn’t returned to the grass. He picked up a nasty wound in the cup game. It’s on his Achilles in an awkward position as it keeps opening up. We’re hoping that heals quickly.” Daka? “He’s an asset for the team and it’s great to have him back. He’s a good guy who has certain attributes. He’ll be a great option. It is tempting to throw him straight back in, but we don’t want to do that to the detriment of getting him fully fit. It was quite a serious injury so we have to be careful. We’re cooperating with the medical team. He’s looking sharp and that will grow.”
