https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/andrew-hughes-departs-for-leicester-city Andrew Hughes departs for Leicester City Norwich City can confirm first-team coach Andy Hughes has joined Leicester City. The two clubs have reached an agreement for Hughes to join recently-appointed head coach Steve Cooper and his backroom staff at the King Power Stadium, with immediate effect. Hughes took on the role of first-team coach in January 2023, having previously been the club's player loans manager for the two years prior. He first joined the Canaries during his playing days, where he spent two seasons at Carrow Road from 2005/06. Sporting director Ben Knapper said: “Despite all being disappointed that we’re losing such a key member of the team in Andrew, he leaves with our very best wishes. “The impact of his work has been clear for everyone to see, and his energy and enthusiasm is something we’ll all miss day-to-day at the training ground. “We wish him nothing but the best in his new challenge, and we’ve no doubt he’ll be a great success.” All at Norwich City would like to thank Andy for his hard work and dedication and wish him well in his future career.

https://www.lcfc.com/news/4052404/leicester-city-sign-highly-rated-midfielder-michael-golding?lang=en Exciting young midfielder Michael Golding has agreed terms for a transfer to Leicester City from Chelsea. The highly rated 18-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the Foxes, having carved out an excellent reputation thanks to his performances for Chelsea’s Under-18s and Under-21s side in recent seasons. Speaking to Foxes Hub, he said: “I’m really looking forward to making leaps and bounds in my career here at Leicester and working hard to help the team as much as I can. “Obviously the history of the Club speaks for itself; there are great players here and I’m looking to soak up as much information as I can from the senior players, to learn from the staff and hopefully have a great season.” The Kingston-born midfielder, who joined Chelsea at age of 12 from AFC Wimbledon, made his senior debut as a substitute in a January 2024 FA Cup Third Round tie at home to Preston. Golding’s potential has also been recognised at international level, having been capped by England Under-16s, Under-17s and Under-18s. He captained the team at the UEFA Under-17s European Championships and would go on to play at the FIFA Under-17s World Cup in November 2023. He will link up with his new team-mates at Seagrave on Monday as the Club’s teams return to pre-season training. -

I mean with both wingers as well. (without one of them being shoved at wing back)

But that 343 wouldn't let you include an attacking mid like O'Riley or O'Hare who we are being linked with
-
I do wonder what system Cooper is mainly planning on starting with now we are being linked with a couple of attacking mids - as it does worry me slightly what it could mean for Fatawu and Mav as with a back 5 system you can't really get both wingers AND an attacking mid in there Could it be a back 4? Hermansen Ricardo, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen Winks, Ndidi Fatawu, O'Riley, Mavididi Vardy

He would be a brilliant signing, unfortunately I highly doubt we can afford to buy him

Yeah going Friday to Sunday Driving over getting the ferry from Dover into Calais Got a hotel booked about a 15-20 minute drive away from the stadium - we were originally going to stay in Calais but didn't fancy the idea of then having to drive into Lens and finding somewhere to park during the match etc. where as now we can just get a taxi
