I think he would probably understand that Vesty is a contender for player of the season so far and Faes has to play, but yesterday Ben Nelson got minutes ahead of him… If he is getting a bit down, hopefully he keeps it to himself and we keep on hearing what a model pro he is.

He’s looked comfortable on the ball and very capable in the few mins I’ve seen him at Tranmere and yesterday. We seem to have a much better route for academy lads into the first team these days which is excellent (and perhaps helped by dropping down to a lower standard). I met his dad at Tranmere as well, he seemed like a nice fellow.
