  1. Another player to regress and get sidelined by an apparent elite manager. Rodgers really was the pits, particularly in his last 2 years. Say what you want about Papy, he had his limitations, but I bet he would shown more character and had more about him than those charlatans in midfield that took us down. I’m looking at you Tielemans you fat useless bastard.
  2. Interesting. Yes we have a log burner as well. We moved in 3 years ago and the price per litre was half it was when I last asked a few months back. All other fuels have come back down to what prices were a few years ago, and yet LPG hasn’t…
  3. So are you on LPG as well then?
  4. Hmm… sounds like non-mains supplies are all a swizz then. The last time I asked it was in 70’s p per litre. If our contract is anything to go by as well, these sorts of companies have you by the balls.
  5. At least they’ve taken inspiration from last years first team, and have started to show some ambition at 3 down!
  6. 2 of those have been very poor from our perspective. Still it’s quite funny when Fleetwood play Captain Pugwash when they score!
  7. Shame we didn’t score just before the whistle for half time, as I suspect it’ll be a long night.
  8. Is anyone not on mains gas and has an LPG tank in their garden? If so, what do you pay per litre? We have and I’m beginning to suspect we’re being fleeced. Firstly they stopped advertising their per litre unit price, and are now blaming every geopolitical and global event possible for not being transparent and justifying their high prices. Plus we’ve had wind neighbours are getting considerably better deals. So I wonder if anyone else gets LPG and what you pay…
  9. Good on you for getting Percy on and for another good listen. Listening to him he seems quite pro Brendan and anti board for our relegation…? Interesting because I think most supporters would blame both, particularly Bodgers
  10. Hopefully last night will be a bit of a reality check and we can get back to business
  11. I agree completely. Most national rugby teams seem to have a South Pacific Islander of some sort. It starts to make national teams like clubs where players can pick and choose (obviously not to the same extent). Cricket is like this as well. I’d have said football has probably been better in this regard than rugby or cricket, but football is certainly moving toward the likes of rugby and cricket imo.
  12. I also think we miss Wilf in this set up. Genuine box to box and adds bite in midfield. We get carved open because Casadei doesn’t give us the same level of protection imo. No one is as hungry like the Wilf!
  13. I didn’t see this last night, but am enjoying reading everyone’s thoughts. I was told that Leeds wanted it more, and that we barely had a shot on target? Sounds frustrating, but hopefully it can act as a wake up call that we can’t just roll everyone over.
  14. I know mate. And to make matters worse I think they’ve been together for 18 years, and are pushing 50 - and they pick today of all days… it’s unbelievable!
  15. Haha Ooops. Predictive text, I of course never beat them, unless it was Peter Taylor
  16. I’m at a wedding tonight so I can’t watch. Really annoyed given its a big and tough game. I can’t sneak off either or watch it on my phone because there’s only 4 of us involved (including the bride, groom and wife). Absolute shocker. Really interested to see how we get on. They have their tails up and are threatening on the transition, and we won’t carry on winning forever (or will we?).
  17. Isn’t it very difficult to get beat them these days? Not like the good old days (by that I mean 90s and earth 00s)!
  18. Someone needed to say it!
  19. Great to see the impact of our Big Willy’s on the mens and women’s side. Not only has Willy Caballero been integral to getting the men on the Marescalator, but Willie Kirk is starting to get a tune out of the women - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67145810 All hail our Big Willy’s!
  20. He had the whiff of a player who had something to prove after his career had stalled a bit. What a signing he’s been, and we know he can do it at the top level as well.
  21. I think that was down to effective opposition - one thing QPR won’t have
  22. Their game plan was effective and nullified our plan A, and yet we had the better opportunities to score and could have bagged 3-4 easily. They turned it into a slugging match and fair play to them - they could have got something - but hey ho they didn’t. One of those, but happy to take the points move on.
  23. Not at our fluent best, and second best in many aspects. And yet we’ve still had the best opportunities to score.
  24. I hope you’re right!
  25. You’ve got to chuckle…
