People aren't going because they think the football is sh*t not because £8 is too expensive.

If people aren't interested at £8 they aren't going even if it's free. I think that's shit. Even worse than what they think the football is.

For those who don't go based on the football being poor it's not like there hasn't been years of watching poor football from the men's team over the years. The club are offering ridiculously cheap ticket at about £8 a match and £40 odd for a season ticket. I wouldn't disagree with quality issues last season but this year we have made some good quality signings with more in the pipeline. Some of the sloppy mistakes can be ironed out of this team and outside of the top teams they really aren't far away from being a consistent team that are pretty good to watch. Stop being football snobs and chuck £8 out your wallets and give it go.

We give the ball away far too easily. Pretty much most of the goals we've conceded this season have come from that. Look after the ball better, pick the right pass and we're in with good shout of beating even the top teams. Work in progress....

Last season we couldn't score enough and now can't keep them out. Work in progress mind you. We gonna have to defend for our lives in the second half if we're gonna get anything out of this. Come on girls!

Our women's team have made some big strides this season playing some really good football. Big test tomorrow against the best team in the league. We're playing away but just a quick mention that the club are offering us ridiculously cheap tickets for home games and it would be a massive boost for the team if we showed up in decent numbers. Can't see us beating Chelsea but this team will get after them that's for sure.

There will also be top half teams eyeing up our players. Building a team that can compete and keeping them together are often just as difficult. I think Kirk is creating a strong environment that players want to be a part of. You can see a real sense of togetherness within the squad and we're gonna need that to push on both with our league standings, getting players in and keeping the best ones we've already got.
