LCFC 0-2 Fulham, post match thread

Unbelievable revisionism. We hadn't put in a remotely good 90 minute performance under Cooper, including pre-season. If we'd got what we deserved at Ipswich and Southampton we would have been right in the depths. -
True- no idea why they've decided to chuck 3 games on at half 12 every week. 'Utter woke nonsense' and that.

I'm going to look on the bright side... the Championship is a far better league to follow football in. Less corporate and sanitised. Matchdays will be more enjoyable.

An optimist....

I've given up- no point wasting money on new appointments and signings whilst it's such a mess behind the scenes. Every single thing the club has done in the last 6 months other than the Bilal signing has been a car crash.

LCFC will NOT face any charges for breaching PSR

Appointing industry leaders in specific fields generates positive results... who'd have thought it? Not usually the club's style. -
Never heard of him. Know absolutely nothing about him. But this is the exact type of profile signing we should have been after in the summer instead of wasting money and bloating the wage structure.

QPR (H) - FA Cup 3rd Round (11th Jan, 2pm)

I'd recommend getting on the grass to everyone bothering with this. Vesty has the right idea. -
"Do we have anyone we could chuck in at right back and not cost us a goal every single game?"

One of the worst run clubs in the league, one of the worst sets of fans in the league- we're a good match.
-
We weren't bad today (at all). Draw would have been fair, Mavididi missed an absolute sitter at 0-0. But if you're going to play a complete liability at full back, directly responsible for ar least 5 goals this season, plus countless other goals/chances indirectly through being out of position, then you are not going to win games at this level. You're just not.

Buonanotte is better defensively than Ayew. Team always looks imbalanced when Ayew plays too. -
I think much of the genuine venom towards Fofana comes from the circumstances around the injury and contract (most of us have got over Kante, Mahrez, Maguire etc. leaving, even when there were tactics employed to force a move)
-
Surprised it's made it this far to be honest.

I'm assuming there's plenty waiting for the top tier to go on sale before buying?
-
Certainly decent once they went 2-0 up. Still managed a rendition of that Ranieri chant though, proper weirdos.

Indeed. Hamza 'the lesser of two liabilities'.
-
Much improved today- plenty of positives, plenty to build on- - Soumare had his best game for us and is now one of the first names on the teamsheet. - Bilal is a serious player- worst comes to worst, we'll be able to sell him on for double what we paid for him. - Vestergaard excellent again- looks every bit a top flight defender. - Jakub a more than capable deputy- defence looks settled in front of him. - Hamza showed enough to be given a go at right back over Justin. - Team looked much more structured and balanced, bodes well for getting Bilal and Facundo in the team together. - Much more positive and fluid going forward, ball was moved out of midfield faster and generally we looked dangerous. The main thing though- effort. Quick to press, contested for the second ball, good running and availability off the ball. It's another loss, but we've shown signs in the past 2 games that we're capable of staying up. A lot hinges on whether Rudkin pulls his finger out and we bring in 2 or 3 PL standard player in Jan.

That bad? Christ
