It should be a big advantage for us this season. Tipped the game back in our favour in Cardiff and it's nudging us towards a big score here. We'll be hard to beat, just a question of whether we can take 20 wickets on batsman-friendly pitches.

Derbyshire have been annoyingly impressive in the field here. Could be running away with this but haven't been able to find the gaps.

I've got high hopes for him too. Seems to have found a good balance between control and aggression at the top of the order & has looked very good so far.

We'll bat very deep and have a lot of decent bowling options- probably a genuine strike bowler short (again) but they're difficult/expensive to come by. I think we'll be difficult to beat and will end up top 4. Whether promotion is realistic, who knows. It's nice to not be the worst side on the county circuit though.

If we end up with a transfer embargo, Daka is our only other senior striker next season- we might need him to stick around and play a few minutes here and there. Be great to have around to mentor Evans when we start trying to phase him in too.

Judging by the responses to this thread, we're getting exactly what we deserve as a fanbase this season.

Pretty damning all round that the club has only increased in value by €30m, despite having a higher net spend than that and the players having moved up a division.

I loved Tunchev but having him in over Huth, with about 5 second tier appearances to his name, is absolutely insane

He hasn't had a reoccurrence of his injury- that's really the only thing that matters at the moment. Got to be looking long-term with him.
