Appears to be a very good signing- good on the ball (and constantly showing for it), good mentality and a shithouse to boot. Could be the main missing piece in Martin's self-imposed puzzle. I think we're going to get a lot more from him than I was expecting (that's probably a symptom of how far we've fallen at speed, as he's had a decent career).

Chasing down 334 in that sort of fashion is just so unlike Leicestershire too.
-
Great reaction to all the nonsense this week. Hopefully carry that mentality through on Sunday.
-
Great session. That late flurry of runs has broken the back of the chase. Just go down fighting, that's all we can ask of them now (although some silverware certainly wouldn't go amiss...)

Season going down the swanny this afternoon.

In fairness, I see Scriv as part of the middle order. That's more of a compliment to him than a slight towards Davey though.

This. The lunatics were in charge of the asylum by that point and the downfall was inevitable.

Can't remember the specific game(s) but I seem to remember us handling going down to 10 men very well that season.

'We'll Live and Die in These Towns' is such a depressing and self-depreciating anthem n all. Musical equivalent of this

Comms laughing at Ayew's lack of fitness. This is about as lively as he gets lads.

Stockport County 3-4 LCFC - Post Match Thread

I'm a lot more positive today. That's a massive win against one of the best sides in the division (that we're in this division in the first place is a different conversation). It's our biggest away win in a long time and a monkey off our back. Stockport had plenty of chances and we were clinging on by the skin of our teeth, but we did hang on. They were able to throw caution to the wind because we'd gone 4-1 up, which is a positive in itself. The last 10 or so minutes were a lot more comfortable than the previous 30, in part due to the last set of changes RM made. Need to back in up with a result at Barnsley. Win there and we can go into the 3-week International break (the **** is all that about?) with plenty to build on. -

What can you even say about that? On the face of it, that's a superb win. But that half an our after our 4th was an absolute disgrace. All over the shop. -
Thank **** for that. Could easily have been double.
-
They haven't had the ball in the net for 5 minites so, relatively, yes.
-
I can see the logic- why have a striker on when you can't get out of your own half? Astute.
-
These look like scoring every time they get the ball. Absolutely no defensive structure.
-
Thomas getting sent for a kebab there.
-
Early days, but it looks like Lundstram and O'Hora will add a lot to the spine of the team.
-
Cullen arrives. What a debut he's having.
-
Same shape again with Cullen out wide, according to lcfc tv
-
Alves, I imagine. Doesn't appear to be, going by how it's been listed anyway.
-
3-5-1-1, or same again?
-
As an aside, I hope this is the year Somerset finally win it.

An absolute hammering. Miles off it this week. It still all comes down to whether we can beat Hampshire. We'd potentially find ourselves up to 7th if we do, pending any points deduction.
