Yeah I certainly wasn't optimistic and it didn't feel like a good fit, but it wasn't as strong a reaction as it's been towards Martin- any last remaining goodwill towards the ownership has long-since eroded too, so that's probably a factor.

I certainly don't remember Cooper being completely written off at the start either- underwhelming certainly, but most were willing to give him a chance.

To be fair, Maharaj was an unbelievable signing. Both of our overseas for the opening few matches were last-minute- certainly could have done much better than Patel but options would have been limited by that point.

Giving one of our relegation rivals an insight into our tactics (or lack thereof) is daft, even by our own standards.
