King Power was the only decision really but its still a shame about the (at least) 3 Burton fixtures. They aren't aligned with the Europa league dates so I'm a bit confused how they've decided these already? Edit.....Looking at the dates it seems to me they've selected these matches to save the pitch in winter, lets hope no more will have to be moved although I'd say its unlikely.

Fibula fracture might be (slightly) good news It was definitely a red card - the leniency referees give in friendly matches needs looking at.
-
N'didi should play CB. I was critical of this last season but as it looks now this is the best team. Hopefully Soumaré can step up. Its a big ask so lets remember that if it all goes tits up.
-
No - Some people have said the club have told them not to worry about it, but others have said the club refused to confirm this. Realistically the tickets must already be valid for use otherwise they risk a huge balls up if something goes wrong.
-
Sure the club was put under some pressure on this but still cannot agree that overall the club has done a good job. The problem is 2 fold - the general inconvenience for people, but mostly that the club then changed the rules. When they released the info it wasn't ideal but it was made clear that for people with LE postcodes coach was the only option and folks were able to decide if they were prepared to put up with it or not. Then the club relaxed the LE rules. So now you've got friends and families split up, maybe some not even going because of how it was handled. I'm sure there must be a few people from the same household being told to travel down separately - completely pointless.
-
Absolutely - all the ERP forms are supposed to be in by 5 today, yet here the club are 5 hours later announcing new tickets for sale. A shambles in the true sense of the word!!
-
I suspect now there is no mandatory travel these will go very fast tomorrow - but worth keeping an eye out incase they drop the points after a few hours.

FA Cup Final pre match thread (Chelsea)

I'm assuming we'll go 3 at the back whether Evans is fit or not. If he's 50.50 then I really hope we don't risk him In which case its Schmeichel Castagne - Fofana - Söyüncü Ricardo - Tielemans - Ndidi - Thomas Maddison Iheanacho - Vardy Unlucky for Albrighton but I just feel against Chelsea Ricky is better defensively -
Yeah, what is clear is that announcing these extra 450 tickets this late, which is quite an amount considering the overall allocation, just makes the club look even more shifty. I certainly don't think anyone will be taking their explanation at face value. And a lot of folks buying these tickets will be mates of those already forced onto coaches, who now have even more reason to want to avoid them! Edit:it seems we were basically paying for the "operational staff" to travel down!
-
No. You've not been able to drink alcohol on official football coaches since 1985.
-
Yeah another 450 fans who aren't constrained to coach travel. At this point I've basically written the coach money off and am going to make my own travel arrangements despite what the club says.
-
Think Thomas is starting in the final. If Ricardo comes in the it should be for Albrighton for a more solid 5 at the back. Assuming Evans isn't fit of course.
-
The club have already put out a somewhat contradictory statement on this "Get the bus to validate your ticket" and "Don't get the bus your ticket may be cancelled" The fact they don't know which it is suggests to me its just a smokescreen to get folks onboard.
-
Stringers running to the game, didn't see that option when I bought my ticket! https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/runtowembley
-
Because not everyone has had to get the coach, I suspect many can ride with people who are driving down anyway. So although the £45 will be written off there isn't really any extra cost, and it'll be a lot more convenient to travel together.
-
Well its claimed they may cancel match tickets if you don't show up for the bus. How likely it is that the club are going to scan/validate each match ticket as people board I don't know. Really not sure if to risk it myself.
-
I think everyone understands this is a test event with restrictions and there was nothing the club could do about that, but I wonder if anyone even tried to push back at the idea of making half the allocation going by coach mandatory - purely for data purposes. They must have known a lot of people would be put out or off completely for a host of different reasons by this, including most importantly the risk of transmission on the coach! And I'm no scientist but I can't really see how the data is going to be that useful.
-
Its only 3600 of our allocation that have any restriction placed on them, so if yours is one of the other 18000 then you can travel however.

https://www.lcfc.com/news/2132313/fa-cup-final-tickets-sold-out Supporters are reminded that they must travel to the Final using the method of transport designated during their ticket purchase, to ensure that all match tickets are correctly validated for admittance to Wembley Stadium. Anyone care to have a stab at how tickets can be validated???

Anyone in Leicestershire has to get a coach, for some that is a detour. Man City fans had trains and cars as options for the final a few weeks ago, even those from Manchester. So something is different this time.
-
For comparison at the Carabao Cup final Man city fans were given a choice of train (750 at £80), coach (750 at £50) or car travel (250), so I'm not sure why our options are so limited. Also £50 to get to Manchester seems quite a deal compared to £45 for us!
-
Looks like they only book a week in advance
-
For those of us out in the county public transport won't be an option, they want people to drive to Enderby park and ride. Would be interested to know what time these coaches will set off!
-
Qualifying Leicester City supporters that do not live in Leicester (i.e., those who do not have an LE postcode) will be permitted to purchase a match ticket and participate in the ERP, while making their own travel arrangements (by selecting the option for train or car). This part of the arrangements seems to suggest all LE postcodes are in Leicester....driving to Enderby (and more importantly back again!) and sitting on a dry coach doesn't sound like much fun tbh, but if they are part of the regulations then I guess theres nothing than can be done.

Anyone any idea if they will play at Quorn next season, I think the pitch is still allowed in WSL but isn't ideal in my opinion.
