  1. Good point. Didnt even think of that..... Probably just another sh!t promo to release the kit then.
  2. I reckon we'll an anounce a signing tomorrow. Not ITK or anything, but we're doing pre bookings for the kit tomorrow and will officially unveil that so could see someone (most likely evans) modelling it.
  3. Some guy on their forum wants £40m a 40% sell on and first refusal when we sell him...... It's unreal.
  4. Totally understand where you're coming from but the way I see it, if you don' add something to the team, you may as well train with the reserves. Like you say, we have 7 forwards. Vardy, Nacho, Thomas, Ulloa, Okazaki, Musa and Slimani. Let me ask you This, outwith Vardy, how many of those would you be happy to see lead the line in the No.9 role at the Etihad or Old Trafford? Nacho......Maybe? Meaning it leav3s Okazaki to play behind him and that' us..... that's our only real option. Right now, we are one Vardy injury away from that being our forward line with Slim and Musa sitting on the bench. For me, we need another option at no.9. Wether it be Abraham or someone else..... I was just throwing out a name.
  5. I' like to see him come on in place of Vardy for the last 15/20 mins of games to both preserve Vardy's legs and offer something slightly different. At 20 years old, I'd assume that he would be happy with rotation and learning from Vardy with a solid, upper/mid table team..... Was just a thought.
  6. I see big Nacho in that spot behind Vardy. I was suggesting Abraham as an alternative/ long term replacement to Vardy.
  7. I would take a punt on Tammy Abraham. Have to believe he's within reach. Don' see him getting into the Chelsea team and from what I've saw, he plays similar to Vardy in terms of looking to get behind the line. Could be a long term replacement who also adds more off an Ariel threat than Vardy. He didn' set the world alight at Swansea but 5 goals in 15 starts is not too bad for a 20 year old.....
  8. I would tend to agree with the fact that he seems VERY easy to dislike but to be fair, most people I've spoken to who have no affiliation with Leicester, feel the exact same way about Vardy. Players like that tend to be loved by their fans and despised by everyone else.....
  9. I agree. Ndidi will get to the same level as Kante. Maybe Hamza too. Silva IS better than Drinky but together they don' work as well as Danny and Ngolo did. We were stronger in the middle of the park with them than we are now. Despite having potentially better footballers at our disposal.
  10. Surely it makes sense that they're pals. Wouldn' both have lived in or near Birmingham when they played for Villa/Birmingham..... Doesn' mean anything.
  11. I agree. He finally looked to settle into that no.10 role and I'd be very surrised if he didn't nail down that spot this year.

    Evans

I honestly don' see why people are concerned about his age! It' crazy. 30 is a CB's prime. If you listed the 10 best CB's in the world right now, I'd wager that the majority of them are 30 or over.

    Evans

Lawson is far more of a gamble than Evans. On one hand, you have an international CB in just about his prime, with over 200 appearances at this level, 3 league winners medals and 2 league cup winners medals for roughly around 17m, including fee, agent fee and wages. Mawsons transfer fee alone would be more than that and he' had 1 good season at this level...... that' it. Yes, you might get a sell on fee if he's successful but surely we should be looking at what we're gonna get on the pitch now and not what we might get in the bank later.
  14. Me too. I' surrised we're not already strongly linked. I would love to see him here. He's no Mahrez but he can change a game and we need that. He can actually take a free kick too..... I've forgotten what that looks like.
  15. Pretty similar to the personel i would like. LW: Gray, Albrighton RW: Roberts, Shiqiri NO.10 Ian Nacho, Maddison Diabate Just filling in over all three positions. NO.9 Vardy and a target man to come in.
  16. No but you jumped on me for using "they" as a general statement for their fan base when you done the exact same thing.
  17. I stand by my statement. Old Firm fans are NOT fans to be emulated and THAT WAS all I said. Ofcourse there are good people who follow them but i was talking about their fan base in general which is NOT a nice fan base. Never once DoD I say "all their fans" are this or that.
  18. You may have good friends that are old firm fans but I'm assuming they are your friends because they are good people. Well, MASSIVE sections of their support are NOT good people. How do I know This? Well not only am I Scottish and live in Scotland were in constantly surrounded in hatred and bigotry evolving around these two clubs, not only do I see them use the sexual abuse of children and derogatory religious insults on a daily basis but up until the age of 14, I was a season ticket holder at Ibrox. Not only did I see and hear grown men physically and verbally abuse supporters of the opposite team and religion, I sat next to them. I sang the same songs. ...... Then I grew up! Then I realised what I was singing and who I was associated with. Then in 1999/2000 I was taken to my first Leicester game and I realised for the first time that this wasn't normal behaviour. So Yeah, you may know one or two old firm fans but you know nothing about the culture that surrouds them. You'e not saw mum's refuse to buy their children their teams tops in ase they get jumped or your Catholic pal tuck in his crucifix whilst walking past a rangers club.
  19. Paddy McCourt was highly thought of by Celtic fans too. For no other reason than he was an Irish gambler who had the same fitness levels as they did and smoked more...... Rangers fans loved Vladimir Weiss simply because he loved winding up Celtic fans.... Old Firm fans are pretty much the worst example of football fans that there is. Not good for examples, unfortunately.
  20. I' the same. On one hand, he' young, shows promise and glimpses of brilliance and on the other he's frustrating as hell a ot of the time and his general attitude on the pitch annoys me.
  21. He not only played on the left for Celtic on numerous occasions but he also played up front when Grithiths and Dembele where injured. He DID go to the right when Sinclair was at his best but most certainly wasn' "exclusively right wing"
  22. He' left footed and was played on the left so more like an old school winger. He DID cut in quite a bit but usually to create space for Kieran Tierney's overlapping runs. He played very well with Tierney who is a very attacking minded LB because hes not shy in tracking back and covering when necessary. If I had to describe him, I would put him somewhere between Mahrez and Albrighton in terms of style. His delivery is decent, he has a good work rate and seems to read the game quite well for a youngster but he also likes to take players on and take on the shot when possible. There is every chance he could be a cracking player, wether he turns out to be..... we'll see I s'pose.
  23. Saw quite a bit of him as I'm Scottish and il probaby say that out of those three, Diabate is probably best suited to play through the middle.
  24. Sometimes one D doesn' get the job done.
  25. As far as I'm aware.... that was the bid in January but we wanted £65 plus the player. Makes sense to me that any deal will likely be for around £55m and Roberts. They value him at £15m. That's £70m. Is he worth more? To us, he is but I'd take it and move on. Roberts, Diabate, Albrighton, Gray and Shaqiri for the wings. Inheacho and Maddison for the No.10 role. Vardy and a target man to compete for no.9 spot. That 55m would prob get us Madison, Shaqiri and a decent big man.
